We stayed for two nights. We really enjoyed the decor throughout the hotel and the pool area and our room was beautiful. Breakfast was really good and they made us a packed breakfast when we had to leave early one day. The level of service was good. Thank you for a great stay!

Very nice boutique hotel in the backroads of Chiang Mai. Room was amazing and decorated beautifully. The air conditioning left on all day, not like the rooms that stop when you take your room key out. Food was ok, some of the staff had food English others not so much. Beautiful waterfalls between the restaurant and the pool and fishes. Pool on the other hand was a little disappointing, the sunbeds are in the shade 90% of the day and the pool was dirty. We actually paid the hotel across the road to use their pool. Trips were available at reception but again they didn’t u set stand much English so we booked our tours elsewhere.

Lovely small authentic hotel with traditional lanna style furniture. We were on the 4th floor and it was peaceful and calm. Recommend using a room mosquito spray. The area is very local with some small bar and restaurant nearby. Juat a few minutes walk is the walled city with huge choice. We hired a bike through the hotel and this was perfect.

Very good location which is slightly away from the mayhem but yet easy walking distance to the old city and restaurants and shops. Rooms very disappointing- very dark and pokey. They seem to have stuffed as many rooms as possible in to a small space. A shame. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good. Good laundry service. Would not choose to stay here again.

Flatters to deceive At first glance the Thannatee Hotel looks really nice. However our rooms were pokey, dark and airless! We had to change room in order to get a room with some natural light. Breakfast was very good, staff most helpful and it's well located for walking in the old part of Chiang Mai. The city itself is bustling, noisy and busy so if you have to visit Chiang Mai the Thannatee offers some respite from the chaos.

Efficient pick up arrive at a very manic airport on arrival. Speedy check in and showed to my room which I really liked. Very quirky style with wooden embellishments and a decent size with a lovely bathroom and view towards the pool area. Felt like a little jungle with all the plants and coy carp with a little waterfall outside. Breakfast was lovely and would even serve me coffee at pool area. Only small criticism was the pool. Although others lovely it was very small with only 4 lounges. When there were a few guests there it felt very crowded. Apart from this I loved my stay thank you

I loved this hotel, from the decoration to the atmosphere and location. Clean, friendly, helpful and extremely reasonably priced, even cheap! I would 100% recommend to any travelling in the area, I travelled north and south of Thailand, and this was my favourite hotel! Not as luxurious as some but bags of character and value for money is undeniable!

This lovely boutique hotel was perfectly located a short walk from the old city but tucked away enough to be peaceful. We booked the deluxe king room which didn’t disappoint. The swimming pool a welcome relief to the heat. A number of local eateries a stones throw away which were great for dinner and or a drink. Free shuttle to the airport a bonus. English speaking staff pleasant and attentive. Breakfast ok.... coffee good.
