We stayed two nights. It is in a good location and the guest house mostly clean but tired. Not nice that we saw rats near toilets/kitchen! Restaurant convenient but over-priced. Experience made better by the lovely pool.

We unexpectedly had to stop somewhere in ChiangMai for one night and booked this guesthouse guided by price. But hotel wasn't that bad. It is obviously needs to be refurbished because some are facilities are shabby. Personnel at reception wasn't friendly enough but ok in general. Thing that spoiled our sleep was rattling conditioner out of room. But this guesthouse...

The most I can say for this place is the turndown service ladies were nice and did a good job but that's about it. The beds weren't too comfy and the wifi would just not work for hours at a time or run really slow. One morning I sat down for breakfast at the food area they had and got...

I'm writing this a long time after we stayed. We were a family group (all adults) who travelled to Thailand in February 2016. The Lai-Thai Guest House was our first stop in Chiangmai. The rooms were basic, the air-conditioning ancient and the pool was OK. The reception staff were definitely not helpful and appeared to consider us lucky to stay...

The rooms were okay for the price but after the first night, we wanted to get out of there. I woke up with TWELVE mosquito bites - they had gotten in through the various cracks/holes in the windows and walls. Very itchy for the next few days! The air conditioning was vastly underpowered and did not cool the room down...

I stayed here for only one night, I asked Taxi office at Airport to take me to 2 or 3 star for one night only,I was not disappointed. Pool was great ,staff, although with little English were helpful, free Wi-Fi was good. The room was small and very clean.I did not try restaurant but food looked good

I have stayed here several times. The hotel is value for money. Beds a little hard, a/c a little noisy and the pool a great place to hang out when you are tired of wandering. Staff are helpful, rooms are big enough and cleaned daily. Good wifi included.

Lai Thai is just outside the moat walls. It is handy to walk to the night market and very close to Sunday walking market. The main attraction has got to be the pool! It is large and clean, with comfortable lounges aplenty. There is a restaurant for breakfast and other meals and the food is adequate. The rooms have good...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and enjoyed the experience. Air con was fine, swimming pool was ok too. We had a pleasant stay with no problems. Took a stroll to the night bazaar which is just down the road.... some great food in the markets. Not much else to say really but I'd recommend for a couple...

Room was a bit dark and small as shown in the photos but is clean and the bed was comfortable. There was only one plug in in the room but it worked out. There is a nice pool here and a decent restaurant. Location is pretty good....across the road from the old town gate and there are many restaurants and...
