Great place to stay in Chiang Spacious and very clean room, nice garden in the edge of the north gate of the old city. The kindness of the host lady, the good breakfast make it up for noise of the city . I stayed here 3 weeks and I loved it .

The open air lobby area is fantastic! My group stayed several days there and we spent a few days meeting in that area. The food was very good and the staff very friendly. Don't miss the coffee shop - love that place. My room was fine but certainly not the highlight. A/C was excellent. Great value overall.

Great budget accommodation with helpful staff and newly refurbished rooms but it suffers from a lot of noise from the road at the front. We stayed 4 nights in room 35 which was fine. However we returned for 1 night in room 23 which directly faces the road and the noise was intolerable. I think that will also apply to...

A great relaxing place to stay. A very Thai feel about it. The room was newly rennovated with a great outlook over the old city wall and moat. The food is good and the staff are friendly, kind & helpful. My go to place in Chiang Mai.

Excellent daily, thorough, room service.... leaving water bottles, toilet paper, after thoroughly cleaning our room. Offered adjoining air conditioned rooms for our family. Staff available late into night (we did not need staff after 10pm) Our second time to stay and it's better than the first!! Food is handmade and excellent in quality, freshness, variety. Wait staff is efficient and...

This guest house is very special. The owner has continued to expand and has created a very tranquil setting where you can literally walk off of the street and into a garden setting. The food is very good and served quickly. There is a nice coffee shop at the front of the business (the iced mocha is my favorite). The...

I don't know why this guesthouse is not rated more highly. The open courty ard hanging plants and tropical trees created a great ambience. It is just what I imagine for a guesthouse here. I loved the porches and public spaces. Got a good night's sleep in spite of the hard mattress. I will definitely be recommending Mountain View to...

I keep returning to Mountain View for all the right reasons. It is comfortable, reasonable, clean and the service is unobtrusive but excellent. Very relaxed. There is a nice covered dining area with quite decent food. Quirky garden atmosphere. Get the Deluxe room for 700 baht/night. That is a nice large room with porch and balcony, aircon and private bath....

We wanted an inexpensive but nice place near the center and found this guesthouse. The garden restaurant was lovely and natural. Staff were helpful and diligent. But there was noise around the hotel after 8am which is probably ok.

Sorry for the noise around the hotel during the day. We are having some renovation in the front building, and hope things will go back to normal in October. Meanwhile, we have a promotion of 10% off. Thank you for your valuable review
