This was truly a pleasant surprise. The hotel is gorgeous and even the basic room was spacious and luxurious. The whole hotel is set up as a village, and it is an oasis in this busy city. The staff was exceedingly helpful and courteous. We loved it here and would totally come back!

Steps from the night market in Chiang Mai and set back off the main road by about 50 meters sits this little gem of a hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by smiling, friendly staff -- which proved to be the hallmark of our stay at Yaang Come. Nowhere else on our journey did we encounter such consistent pleasantness, sincerity...

This was our second stay at the Yaang Come Village and we were not disappointed. The warm, friendliness and outstanding service offered by the management and staff at this intimate, boutique style property, is without parallel..we couldn't fault anything. We stayed 5 nights in the superior rooms ...very spacious, lovely traditional thai decor, huge bathrooms, in-room safes and everything else...

This was the best hotel of our 2 weeks in Thailand. Mostly due to it's size and charm - relatively few rooms, beautiful open air reception area, the staff is unbelievably friendly and accomodating, charming and spacious rooms, refreshing pool area, great restaurant, very convenient walk to the markets and to restaurants - but you would never know you're so...

This is the perfect hotel for the Western traveler to Chiang Mai. The location is superb and the facilities are a perfect blend of Thai culture and Western amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was an added treat. And,not to be overlooked , the price was extremely reasonable. I can't imagine a better hotel experience.

We stayed at Yaang Come for a week with our 3 and 5 year old, and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. The staff at Yaang Come are amazing, always smiling friendly and helpful. We have traveled extensively in Asia, and this was definitely one of the best hotel experiences we have had.

This is a great little hotel in a wonderful location. We did not quite know what to expect but were very happy on arrival. Our room was large and had very funky decor, not usual for Asia. Bathroom also large and very nice. We did not use the pool but it looked very nice and clean. We also did not...

I read so much about YCV as it is affectionately called, and all was true. They picked us up at the airport and made us feel so welcome. The cost was included in our room, which was very reasonable. THis is the place to stay if you want to be close to the night market, yet want to feel like...

We had the urge to go back to Yaang Come Village to find new hidden treasures from the gracious old Thai Lue culture of China's Sip Song Panna region; to feel coexistence with living things (except mosquitoes): and to feel peaceful introspection under a venerated tree. A Google search for ["spirit tree" thailand] gives an idea of the place of...
