The pictures make it look lots fancier than it is. It is VERY basic. They only clean the room every 3 days unless you ask otherwise. The towels are worn out. You can sit on the toilet to shower and the bathroom floor gets soaked all over when you shower so you have to use your bath towel if you... More

The Chiang Mai White house truly is a great spot! We paid 400 baht for a room on the top floor with a fan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable enough, the bathrooms weren't the cleanest but it wasn't a big deal. The garden terrace is definitely a lovely feature, a great place to hang... More

The managers (Lek and BP) are so lovely and welcoming and super super helpful and friendly. The guesthouse itself is very reasonably priced and in the perfect location just off the main road (Sunday walking market) running through the old city. The facilities are decent and very good for the price you pay! but as I say, it really is... More

I spent one week in the Chiang Mai White House where I always stay when I am in Chiang Mai. Lovely Guesthouse in the middle of the old town, next to Tha Pae Gate. I specially love the lobby in the garden and the atmosphere there. It is green, peaceful and full of lovely people there. Not to mention the... More

I loved staying at the Chiang Mai White House. The rooms are clean and simple. We paid 350 bhats per night for a room with a fan on the top floor, with a lovely view. It was great! The lady helped us book a jungle tour, zipline trip and rafting trip. On the other days I mainly hung out in... More

We arrived in Chiang Mai a day too early due to a medical emergency, but the super friendly staff did everything they could to get us a comfortable room and immediatelly helped us find the best hospital in town. Rooms are basic, but really clean and cozy. Also, the location is great: really central but in a quiet (and safe)... More

Nice hotel with clean rooms in the old town of Chiang Mai for very reasonable prices. A big plus is the location, right in the city centre close to Sunday shopping street, but in a quiet alley. Bertil and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Just ask, because they know all about the possibilities in and around Chiang Mai.... More
