I feel that the dinner buffet is reasonably priced as it includes cold mud crabs, lobster pincers and whole baked salmon, although the buffet theme is "Makan makan": eat eat in Malay language which focuses on local food. As I was celebrating my birthday with my family, I was delighted that the restaurant staff had kindly provided a complimentary birthday...

Buffet spread was the usual offerings from most hotels. Think the restaurant was understaffed. So it took a while for counters to be replenished. Overall the food quality was above average and it was good value for money.

Well, this place is decent if you are a backpacker. It's got a decent price tag for the stay but I had quite a few qualms with it: 1. Bed bug alert!!! I found a baby bed bug on my bed. At first, I wasn't sure. The damn thing was so tiny I couldn't even take a proper picture of...

I paid for a standard with fan room well in advance. Yes it was cheap, and definitely nothing fancy neither clean. The bed seems clean at first but when I woke up the following morning I have rashes all over my arms and legs. The following morning when I told the front desk about it, she wouldn't even move me...

Went there on a Wed night. There was a good variety of cuisine; like western food for Christmas, Indian food and fresh seafood. The satay, laksa and fresh prawns were the nicest of all. Services for the Asian food section was abit slow, since there was only one person there.

Good pool and cheap Bar, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are old and a little bit shabby (but I´ve seen worse...) Best thing: you meet a lot of people there so you can get lots of advice for your tours. After 3 nights I moved abaout 100 meters to Thai Tom's Guesthouse which was excellent.

Well I booked a trekking package and this was the hotel they put me at for 3 nights. I had my own room with a/c. The room is very small with a tiny window looking into back alley. The bathroom is very small and the shower is basically right on top of the toilet, it is a comical design. Rooms...

I stayed at B.M.P. Residence a couple of nights. The rooms are all a bit old and some things are broken or don't really work. But I didn't find any insects in it. I also did one of the Dschungel trips as other people did. The trip itself was really great and I had a lot of fun.

We checked in quite late at night initially for 3 days but it was awful . It smelt like a sewer. The room was pokey and dirty . Hairs on the floor and bed . The pillow was so badly stained it showed through the pillow case . The bed had a big dip in it so you could only...

The reviews make this place sound alot worse then it is. For backpackers I think this place is fine. The bed way lumpy and room a little small but for a place to sleep and chill for a few hours this is fine. My sheets were actually clean and I did not get bitten. The jungle tour here is a...
