We were two women friends in our 70's, travelling alone, and we stayed at Rimping Village for 7 nights. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The transfers were complimentary and because the hotel was not sure whether we would arrive at the national or international airport, they sent two people to wait for us. The journey back to the hotel...

Location was terrific, not too far from the old town enough for a cheap and quick taxi or tuk tuk, and can even be walked to in 15 mins. Staff were amazing, perfect in every way, the best I've ever come across. Pool was great too and breakfast. No complaints.

We stayed there on our honeymoon, and you should too. When we checked in, we found our bed covered in rose petals and a really nice note my wife still has. Reception is amazing, will help you with everything you need, whatsoever. Receptionist gave us a detailed overview of the city, and suggested trips and itineraries. They smile, and genuinely...

This hotel is really excellent and all the staff are extremely helpful from the front-desk to the maids. We stayed initially for three nights, then returned for another nights, with plans to return again for another three nights. This hotel is very clean, and breakfast is good. Location is close to the river, night market and restaurants, with the Old...

The welcome from the staff at Reception and throughout the hotel is great and the room was large. The hotel is situated outside the main city and you have to walk through an alleyway and across a bridge to get to the main part of town. However, although I was alone I did not feel insecure doing this walk at...

Spent 3 nights at the Rimping Village. It was in a very quiet location on the edge of Chang Mai within walking distance of the centre. The staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Only had one evening meal but it was very good.

We stayed here for 4 nights in Dec 2012 with my husband and we were made to feel very welcome. The staff are extremely helpful (the friendliest hotel staff we experienced during our stay in Thailand) and always there to greet you no matter what time of day or night. I felt the rooms were basic but clean. Good location,...

Me and my wife stayed at the Rimping Village for 6 days. The hotel is located on a peaceful spot about 20 minute walk from the center of town. The entire complex is very relaxed. The room was large. Breakfast included fresh variety of baked foods and fruits. We had dinner at the restaurant a few nights and were satisfied....

We spent 10 days at the hotel over Christmas 2012. We had a family room for our two boys of 10 & 8 plus my wife and I. We are used to luxury hotels of the Four Seasons type but a friend living in Chiang Mai recommended this hotel and thus we gave it a try. It exceeded all expectation....

My family spent a great week on holiday in Chiang Mai and we can't say enough good things about the Rimping Village staff. The hotel is an easy walk (or wobbly hotel-provided bike ride) from the river, the markets, and good restaurants of all kinds. It's not a big place and the atmosphere is just about right for what we...
