Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked for 3 nights but stayed only 2 because travel plans changed a bit, warm welcome when we arrived, but the hostel is really outdated, bedsheets not clean and sanitary facilities not really neither, bed not so comfy and ac too loud, breakfast where just the bananas the lady handed over the night before ...the pics of food (from older recommendations) are the pics taken in the restaurant on ground floor which is a really good restaurant but separate from the hostel which is important to know. Not expensive so keep you expectations low.

I'm writing because I just left there and the pictures I see posted online are not up to date. i think the restaurant has upgraded considerably and really is lovely inside. I would say the rooms are slightly less than shown. My room was very clean, but I think it's time to invest in some new sheets. A bit dingy, but I will say, excellent air-conditioning, nice tv, and laundry service is available (but I didn't use it). Here's where they get five stars from me: Service! Peam was excellent and even called (more than once) to confirm my visit to an elephant sanctuary the next day that I was concerned about. And her English is excellent. Also, the cleaning lady was lovely and pushed fresh bananas on me every day. I did eat dinner one night in the restaurant and it was like eating in a very fancy restaurant for about $12. Delicious food, beautiful presentation, excellent service.

Are here a couple of times. Great WiFi, great food, great service. Would definitely recommend if you are staying nearby. Next door to the fabulous Women’s Massage Centre so we would go there for a massage and then next door for food. Wanted to stay at Bon Ca Va but was full at the time.

This is my 2nd visit here. I came to try the Good Khao Soi which I use to compare restaurants (I love Khao Soi as well). It was pretty good. I thought it was a bit expensive at 79 Baht but there was quite a lot of it and there was a proper chicken drumstick. A large Chang is a very reasonable 75 Baht. Service was fairly good. There's free wifi

We found this place while in Chiang Mai and it was one of the best place in terms of value for money! The staff are very accommodating and friendly, the food was very good and pleasant atmosphere. Opening hours are also helpful if you need to grab something early in the morning.

We are in Chiang Mai for a week for school and it’s hard to find a place open with a western breakfast but this place is! And the #6 breakfast hit the spot every morning. Coffee is good but like all coffee in Thailand, it’s too strong for our American palate they didn’t provide enough milk.

We stayed two nights at this hotel/guest house which also operates a restaurant. It has only 6 rooms located above the restaurant at the third and fourth floor. Staff is very friendly and greets you with an orange juice. Our room was spacious with a king size albeit firm bed. Bathroom with bathtub, all clean and functional. Safe in room, nice little balcony (smoking only on balcony), however if you get a room facing the main street it is pretty noisy. Restaurant has good food, breakfast is included in room rate, which is quite reasonable for what is offered.
