Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Super worth the amount you spend. Clean and well maintained rooms. Close to most of the important temples in the old city. Massage parlour, happening night places, 7-11 and almost everything imp near by. Thanx to Kim for currency exchange recommendation and other assistance. They were kind enough to keep my luggage and let me refresh before I left in the evening. You can book all your tours from here. They give the best price in Chiang mai and the service is outstanding!!!

Hands down the best guesthouse I have stayed in after 3 months of travelling. From the moment I made the reservation, Pim and Miki responded to emails very quickly. It’s very convenient, super clean and just a great place to stay! They also set me up with a 2 day 1 night visit to the Maeklang Elephant sanctuary. A truly remarkable place. I had lots of time with the elephants, a great Thai BBQ, campfire, hut by the stream and great conversation. Thank you for making my last stop on this trip truly remarkable!

Came to stay here with my two girlfriends and was blown away by the hospitality of the owners, Pim and Miki. When we showed up we had taken a 10 hour overnight bus ride and stopped by around 8am to see if it was possible to check in early even though check in was at 1, and Pim had said it was no problem and got us in right away so we didn't have to carry our heavy bags around until later. Miki also even helped us find a taxi we had called using grab taxi, and stood out in the rain on the phone with him to help him find us. The hostel is very clean and well taken care of, and Pim and Miki helped show us options for excursions we could do in Chiang Mai and did all of the booking for us. We were always greeted cheerfully at the front door, and they were very helpful answering any questions we had. We felt very safe staying here which was amazing because it was our first backpacking trip on our own and we were a little scared, but this experience settled us in very well. They also offered to hold our luggage for us after we checked out so we wouldn't have to bring it with us on our excursion on the last day. Staying at PM guesthouse was an amazing place to stay for our first time in Chiang Mai, and I would reccomend this place to all of our friends and would stay here again if I came back to Chiang Mai. Thank you so much for the amazing service, hospitality and experience!

We loved our stay at this hostel. The location was great and our room was spacious and had a little private terrace. Pim & Miki were super helpful and answered all our questions and helped us book our tours which we absolutely loved. Thank you!! If we ever come back to Chiang Mai we know where to stay.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights and were so impressed. Pim and Miki were very helpful and knowledgeable about what to do and how to do it. Gave us great tips on the best eats. The facilities are basic but very clean. We booked the single room booking.com had for one guest only however the bed was easily big enough for two and PM had no issues with us sharing the room. The Best massage place is only about 3 doors down and great coffee and dining spots all within a few minutes walk!

After 31 days traveling in Thailand I can say that this hostel was the best for me!! I knew that but just waiting to check... I stayed in a private room with 2 more friends and was very clean, also they clean the toilets at least 2 times a day, good air conditioner, towel included, soap and shampoo. You can have lovely breakfast in the hostel for 90b, really nice omelet with toast and tea or coffee. The couple is really nice very helpful with everything. Also we rent a motorbike there and. It problem at all! We did the laundry too and was ok! I am very glad to expend 4 days in that hostel if I think in back to chiang mai of course I going to PM guest house!! Thank you couple for my visit there! All the best!

I spent only one night in the 4 bed dorm in PM guesthouse, wish I stayed more. Pim and Miki were very helpful and kind, gave me indications for traveling and let me use the toilets anda hairdriers even after check out, as it was a rainy day and everything got wet. Price is very reasonable for the comforts you get: room is spacious, bed are large and towels, linen were fresh from laundry. Lockers, good WiFi, good hot showers, bike rental, tour bookings. Location is also convenient, in the old center five minutes walk from main temples and from northern gate, plenty of markets and restaurants around.

I welcomed 2018 in with Pim and his fiancée - both wonderful people and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them next time I’m in Chiang Mai. Highly recommended and a great place to book trekking, elephant and zip line tours too.

Clean, comfortable and very helpful owners. Everything you need in a guesthouse :) the owners were very happy to answer our (many) questions and organize out trips for us. This made our trip stress free. FYI, would recommend going to the sticky falls (go early)! Guesthouse organized a tuk tuk to take me and my friend there.
