Booked online to stay here but it was awful from the second we arrived. Been travelling round asia for 5 months now and this was the worst experience we've had. The man on reception wasn't a people person, instantly rude & unfriendly and left us feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The room itself was grim - tiny, overpriced, no wifi...

Location: Good. In central area of old quarter down a hidden lane with the best pho shop in hanoi two doors away. Price: Not bad, 14USD for a room. Rooms: Vary depending on which side you stay on. Room ok, had air-con, TV, hot water, fairly quiet, but bit grotty, towels provided on first day v v dirty and looked like they hadn't been washed. Breakfast was meagre, hardly worth bothering with.
