don't go there! terrible owner. they only want to make money by selling way too expensive trips! not clean, next to a very loud road and very impolite service. they even even lied at us and entered our room without knocking... just don't go there!!!

Brought to this hotel by a taxi from the airport. Came in, looked at the rooms, $10 per night, thought everything was fine. When i wanted to leave after three nights, he charged me 2.000.000 VND! I said that was not what the price he told me, which would be less than 700.000 VND. I refused to pay and then...

We had really bed expirence with the travel to along bai and cat ba island we booked from this place. We want to go directlly to Cat ba island and it was not happend. He dont tell us that we need to pay to entrance for the Along, and also he tell us we get to the island in 4...

Beware, this scam HQ recently changed its name to Backpackers Bed and Breakfast. Don't know how to make TA update this. Address hasn't changed, neither has the way they do business by ripping off people in any way possible. Simply put, this place is dangerous. Stay away. These guys are as bad as stated in the other reviews, or worse....

We got poached at the airport by a guy saying "meter taxi" we asked to go to our hotel that we booked but as we arrived they said it was full and they would take us to the brother hotel down the road. When we got to this place they said it would be the same price and same utilities...

Hotel we asked the taxi to go to they said was full, we were told we'd be brought to a brother hotel. Electricity and air con switched off at night. Don't book any tours with them they take a huge cut (e.g train tickets, tour to halong bay). Hotel said they would organise taxi to train station - failing to...

Exactly same experience as everyone else. Top floor room, couldnt sleep because of a noisy water tank in the attic. Twin room, only 1 bed had a duvet and pillow. Room was horrible and over-priced. Weren't told that they lock up at 11pm. Tried to force us into taking over-priced tours and became nasty when we refused to buy from...
