I think people who want to party and maybe stay in Hanoi for two days want to stay here. The staff was friendly but they seemed stressed. I can't blame them though. They tried their level best. My room (804) was smelling really bad. Sorry - but really. In fact the corridor and the elevator also. I normally don't complain...

The hotel is in the middle of the town with many restaurants and shops near by. The room has quiet good size and the staff was welcoming. However you will expect a loud noise from the street at the weekend and also a noisy partying next-door hostel till around 11 PM.

This hotel is in the old quarter. It is clean and comfortable and the catering plentiful and tasty. The hotel staff were very helpful re changing money and providng local information. You can find all sorts of shops on the street that the hotel is on and the surrounding ones. It is in a very busy part of the city...

Great hotel with nicely appointed older style rooms that were clean and bright. Large extensive buffet breakfast included. In the heart of the old quarter amid the bustle of old Hanoi it was a very good hotel with friendly staff and excellent service.

Nice friendly hotel located on Ma May street, which is full of restaurant and street foods (on weekends evenings is pedestrian zone). Room was clean, comfortable with windows (superior room). There was the best breakfast on our Vietnam trip.

Our stay here was very pleasent. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful and polite! They earned at least 2 of these stars. The room was spacious even though we couldn't open the balcony because the bed was in the way - a strange way to set up the room. This hotel is well located but can be...

The room in hotel was dirty, mold on walls in bathroom, dirty floor in room but we booked deluxe room. Stuff as nice and location good but we much over pay. Other tourist who we meet in Hanoi paid much less for better rooms.

We loved our stay at the Medallion Hotel. It is in a great location, it's clean and the staff are super friendly. The best bit is the location because they close off the streets in the old quarter at nights on the weekends. It's a great festival atmosphere. The hotel is also very quiet. Thanks Medallion hotel.

We stayed twice in this hotel in different periods during October 2016. We found great priced deals. We were welcomed warmly by the staff. The Check-in was quick. They explained us everything we needed to know. The rooms are great. Very clean and beautiful. The first room we had was spacious. The location can't be any better - in the...

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and tidy, although the room I was in was looking a little tired. Breakfast was included, and was fairly standard... nothing special. The staff at this hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Located in the heart of the Old Quarter, you can step out of the hotel directly into the...
