Rooms a little humid and dark but the hostel is very well located and delicious breakfast (maby it could be a little bit bigger), friendly staff which speak english very fluent. Free lockers in the rooms.

We originally booked a night somewhere else but they were overbooked, so sent us here. The staff was friendly and downstairs it looked ok, but when we came into the room and bathroom we were disgusted. The sheets weren't clean (hairs of the previous guest were still there) and the bathroom was disgusting (see photos). We decided to sleep there... More

Came here solo - very helpful and friendly staff, helped me book bus tickets and provided great info on things to do near by and the best way to get around town. Really friendly vibe, met some great people to hang out with and have a drink and then to explore the city and also travel further north up Vietnam... More

The room is not so big and clean as we can see in the picture, but it's okay. The bathroom is very small. Because the hostel is near the big street so there are a lot of cars and motorbikes at night, and the bar in the opposite turns the music very loud at night and people laugh, talk loudly.... More

The staff is friendly, the hotel is quite little, well air-conditionned, with a charming roof-top. Nevertheless I stayed a few days and I have clear doubts about the cleanness of the fitted sheets (they seem to remain the same, customers after customers) Stained towels stayed in the bathrooms (with lock issues) the all time, the floor wasn't cleaned very often.

It is the first time I stay in this hostel for 3 nights. The first impression is that everything is cramped and not so cleaned, the breakfast is poor and starts to served too late. The great value of this hostel is: (1) the great location: in the hart of old Hanoi that makes you easy to find out many... More

I have no real complaints. Reception staff spoke adequate english and were able to direct me to the electric car tours. For 5USD a night you can't really complain. I didnt try the free breakfast but what can you really expect for such a low price. There were a couple of hostels close by with the same price however there... More

The great thing about living in this hostel is that the capability to meet new people is inevitable. Although, the cleanliness of the bathroom and utilities needs working on, the facilities are functional if you are not fastidious about it. This is a 4-stories hostel, with the ground level being the reception etc. Next two upper levels are dorms of... More

Only if you are really desperate should you stay here. Upon arrival in Hanoi (approx 10pm) we visited around 6 different hostels looking for a private room but there were no vacancies. In the end we decided to stay in Hanoi Youth Hostel in a dormitory as a last resort. Only wanting to spend as little time as possible in... More
