There are so many wonderful qualities about this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were able to help book our bus tickets and provided us with lots of information on HCMC. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient. The rooms were comfortable (nice cozy beds/pillows) and the AC worked well. Hot shower and clean bathroom. Wifi was fairly...

Located in the heart of a backpacker area, Phan Lan Hotel's primary USP is its proximity to a bustling and throbbing party scene littered with pubs and restaurants. However the advantages more or less end there. Here is a summary of our 'to-look-out' points based on our tryst with Phan Lan: 1. This is a budget hotel that does not...

Situated at backpackers area,Phan Lan 2 is a budget guesthouse which caters to budget travelers. It's clean, comfortable, and the staff from the front desk to the kitchen are friendly, helpful and kind. They are very accommodating too. They serve decent breakfast and you are free to refill drinking water from the kitchen anytime you want. I would definitely stay at...

Found in a quiet alley so you avoid the noisy traffic. The walls are hallow so you can hear voices at the corridor. There were renovation works going on next door until abt 7plus. That made the experience less pleasant. All said the accommodation is extremely cheap for the location. Room is very basic. Clean and decent. Highly recommended for...

We arrived to Saigon at a very uncovinient time - 4.20am and finding a place at that time might not be the easiest. At Phan Lan you'll get excelent rooms (clean, wifi, tv, A/C, fridge), delicious breakfast, very cheap beer (10K VND) and the kindest owners/workers. Some might think that 20USD/night might be too much for a 1 star hotel...

This was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were amazing, very helpful and lovely people. They sent a shuttle to the airport and collected us in the evening, our breakfasts were cooked as we ordered, and it was a great price! Lots of backpackers using the hotel. It was also in...

No worries with this hotel right in the heart of the tourist area of Ho Chi Minh. Many streets around that can entertain you for hours just by watching the people and drinking beer in a wifi place. They unfortunately lost the electricity while I was there, but the whole street did, so it wasn't their fault, just classic Vietnam....

We arrived at Saigon around 10pm and the hotel arranged a service to pick us up at the airport. The personnel who welcomed us is very friendly. The place is clean and can accomodate four persons in a room. We also booked our mekong river tour at the hotel and our bus transfer from vietnam to cambodia. If you just...
