Excellent Hotel ideally located for all attractions. High level of customer care and well appointed rooms As for a high floor due to the Karaoke bar belting out music in the early hours . we got moved as my wife is a light sleeper. Excellent breakfast . Their Pizzas are amazing and one will feed two people easily. We stayed at this property for three nights last week and were allotted a beautiful room on the 11th floor. Unfortunately at about 11pm we woke up to loud thumping music from the discotheque/club. Understandably annoyed, we complained and were immediately moved to a quieter, albeit smaller room on the second floor. The next day after we returned from our day excursion we were informed that we were upgraded to a bigger and nicer room on the 6th floor. In spite of having to shift twice, the hotel is being given an excellent rating because of the attitude of the staff. The hotel staff including the manager were very courteous and helpful. The housekeeping staff actually left a sweet hand-written note. The property is centrally located and walking distance to restaurants. Will definitely recommend, but make sure to ask for a quiet room.

We really enjoyed staying at the Harmony. We arrived tired, hungry and weary after a long drive. The receptionist seated us for our free ’welcome drink’. Not only did we have a delicious drink but were given beautifully presented snacks. Everything looked so nice with Lunar New Year decorations on the tray. After spending several weeks trying to find a souvenir that I could use back home as a Christmas Tree ornament, I knew one of the little gold decorations would be perfect. I asked the young woman from the front desk if I could buy one. She explained that they had a limited supply as hotel decorations but would check for me. Later she called the room to let me know she had put aside one. When I went to claim my ‘prize’, I found she had given me two. I don’t know her name to thank her personally, but I really appreciate the kindness and will think of her when I put them on my tree every year.
Our room was upgraded to an executive (Room 1207). It was spacious and had great city views in two directions, especially beautiful at night. The bathroom had a large jetted tub and rain shower. There was also a mini fridge with 2 bottles each of free water, ice tea and beer.
Up to this point all the hotel beds I had in Vietnam were rock hard. This one was firm but very comfortable. There was lots of space for luggage although limited counter space in the bathroom.
The breakfast buffet is on the 14th floor (it is really the 13th but is called 14 for superstitious folks). The elevator only goes to 12 and then, like many hotels in Vietnam, you take the stairs to the top floor dining. Of all the buffet restaurants on my 3-week trip, this one had the best service and a great view. They made sure we always had tea and coffee and treated us very well. Food was good with a selection of eastern and western food. My husband was happy the vegetarian options.
There is a convenience store right next door if you want to pick up snacks, beer, liquor or toiletries. The doorman directed us to a good Vietnamese restaurant nearby. I noted there is also a steakhouse and a Korean restaurant a few doors down.
This hotel also has a tour desk and currency exchange which I found very useful when none of the nearby ATMs recognized my bank card.
I would happily stay here again.

There are a lot of positives about this hotel: the friendly welcome, breakfast choices, smart tv, staff, range of facilities, free minibar and position. Everything to justify 4* rating. This was offset by a few disappointing experiences during our stay. The hotel feels ‘tired’ and is currently undergoing some renovation work to some rooms. unfortunately one was next to ours and work started early without informing us and continued noisily through the day. Our room, a junior suite, had a massive shower leak which flooded the bathroom. The solution by the hotel was to place towels on the floor to soak up water. There was no view, just a solid brick wall. If you stay and use the gym be careful, at the time of writing the running machines were dangerous as they changed speed quickly and independently whilst running. Nearly fell off! My wife used the spa and she said that it was wonderful. You can’t have it all I guess.

To give explanation to your comments, we are sure that we would never renovate the hotel facilities in guest room without notice letters for our beloved guests and that is going against our commitment and reputation to offer the most value for money service to our customers. We inform our customers according to the apology letters from hotel management prior doing renovation to offer you better services and products. Especially during the renovation, work will commence from 09:00 am and complete at 17:00 . As a result, there will be some construction noise and other works which we aim to abate in order to minimize disruption. Lovey spacious room in which we were upgraded. A few things though could be improved. Whilst lovely breakfast, difficulty with most of the waitresses not having good English so ordering omelettes and coffee was a mission. Better communication with guests would help including when restaurant is closed etc.
shower wasn’t really hot and was over a bath which is fairly high to get in and out of. Should also have clear instructions about shower head as it was attached to taps in bath. The screen that separated the room from bathroom had mildew on it. The tv controls were like a puzzle to work out how to use them - again something written down for guests would help.
Lifts only go to floor 12 and had to climb stairs to get to restaurant/ breakfast - which may be difficult for older or disabled people. lifts were really slow and lots of people using them.
Doormen were excellent. The very best of this hotel was the spa package which was amazingly professional and good - I enjoyed my 2.5 hour luxury massage!! Overall good hotel with easy access to shops etc.

The staff are friendly and very humble. Room is equipped with all essentials and with a Smart tv so you can browse internet, Netflix etc if the channels are boring. Breakfast is standard and the restaurant on a high floor offers good view. Although I got a room with no view it was okay. Wasn’t going there to stand in the room and look at the view all day. In fact I enjoyed the privacy. The hotel is not that new and stairways are usually not lit but trust me, no eerie feelings in this one. The hotel’s spa/massage was overpriced for the masseurs’ quality. The pool’s water is icy cold and the sauna room wasn’t functioning well. Location is extremely popular with tourists. all in all. We stayed here for 2 nights and had Room 1003 at the back of the hotel on the 10th floor. The glazing in this room is so poor that outside music feels like it is in the room, we had to wear ear plugs to sleep. On our second night there was a note on our bed to apologise but a private party was being held in the restaurant and this would be closed to guests who could use the poolside facilities instead, surely we should have been notified of this earlier when they have our contact email! The chairs scrapping when people got up could be heard on 10th floor when the party was on the 13th floor and the music too! This hotels only saving grace is the staff who are excellent and helpful. The breakfast here was wonderful too but overall they could do so much better here. Communication with guests is advised if you’re going to have a party while other guests are staying.

Its a decent hotel with comfortable stay. Location was superb, there are many other hotels in the same vicinity. We booked it through booking.com and there is a huge list of facilities that are mentioned along with the room that hotel promises to provide but upon arrival we get to know that the few of them are not available and cannot be provided, so we spoke to the hotel management on this and to compensate that we were offered a free high tea coupon that can be used in the hotel lobby bar. Also, they mention the mini bar in room is free, please be informed that u get only water and ice tea in mini bar which is free (don't keep high hopes). Otherwise the staff was helpful, pool was neat, a bit small but well maintained. Gym was too small. There was no view from the window, all u can see is another building. Breakfast was good, lots of choices for coffee.

My wife and I stayed here for a week prior to doing a tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff, from reception to cleaners were all extremely friendly and professional, especially the doormen/bellhops. The dining area is bright and spacious with a very good buffet breakfast and a good a la carte dinner menu. There is a wide variety of dining and cafe options in the immediate area and it is only a 25 minutes walk or 10 minutes taxi ride to the Ben Thanh market area. As an added bonus they were more than happy to store our excess luggage for a week until our return after the tour. For someone who can't afford or doesn't need a full 5-star experience I can highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance to the markets and places of interest. The rooms are spacious and the linen is of average condition. The breakfast is good. If you color your hair and if the color runs into the towel, you will have to pay 250 000VND for the towel, even if it is washable.

Regarding the charging 250.00 vnd for the color hair on the towel and it was not washable. We are compelled to discard room linen as it can potentially damage other linen during the washing process. We advise our travelers not to use the linen owned by the hotel granted in use for cleaning of the face to remove make-up depilation with creams, color hair or in any case to obtains from the improper use of the laundry which results in its irreparable soiling. It is therefore that the hotel is constrained to levy charge on such occasion and every day we try to improve our best qualities, facilities and the outstanding services with most value for money to our customers .
