Staff: friendly, helpful, patient. The men guard the place during evenings and I feel safe.nthey they don't look menacing but they are friendly and as a female solo traveller it's good to stay here. The ladies speak English well and are very polite and helpful, always smiling. Location: 5-8 minutes walk to thesintourist which is a street away. Allez Boo... More

I really loved our stay at Ava 3 Saigon Hotel. The location is great, it's close to everything inclusing Saigon Square and Ben Tanh market! There are a lot of restaurants nearby and it's very close to Pham Ngu Lao street where all the tour agencies are located + ATM + Convenience store. Our room was very spacious, aircondition is... We stayed here for 2 nights, the room was clean and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was included, basic but o. The hotel was located close to the backpacker area with a lot of resturants and bars. A plus for this hotel were the free laundry service(One outfit/day). A good stay for a decent price.

Location: The hotel is located in a busy street in district 1. This is good because there's a lot of food places. Walk further down & you get more food places & bars. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Ben Than market. Room: The room is average. Aircon is working good. There's a safe in the room. Bathroom/toilet is good.... More

Booked this because it was cheap and I can't really complain. It's on a busy street right by the backpacker area so travel agencies, food and beer will be no problem. Check in was smooth and friendly, the staff spoke good English and were keen to help. The room has a/c, a kettle, fridge, and a safe large enough to... More

Room is old but OK for backpacker. Breakfast was good tho. Best part is free laundry (one cloth and pants a day) . I will only recommend for one or two night short stay. There is better one out there

I have been to Ho Chi Minh five (5) time and this is my foruth time at this hostel. Formerly known as Sunny Hotel, this hostel is highly recommendable. Although the area is a sort of a market place, once you entered the room, you won't believe how clean, tidy and fragrant it is. The staff changed your towel everyday,... More
