Arrived here after a 5 hour flight delay at 2.30am. All I wanted was a nice sleep but my bed sheets and pillows were all STAINED. The reception staff the following morning did NOTHING. My complaint emails were not replied to, the staff didn't care. A very dirty room and terrible breakfast also. For the price of 1'250'000 VND, this...

When we booked this hotel, we had no idea that there were two locations (they are close to each other) - we found this out when the hotel taxi took us to the wrong one and we were waved on to the other! We had asked for a deluxe twin room; the room had two beds - one queen sized,...

We were a bit worried when reading some of the reviews, and it got worse when we got there and they couldn't find our reservation :( Well, it turns out there are 2 King Star Hotels :) Anyway, we booked the VIP rooms, and they are apparently all at the 'thai van lung' street hotel. So we walk a few...

We stayed the first 4 nights in Vietnam here and we where very happy with it. They are in a very central place, where most of the famous places in HCMC can be reached by foot. We took the VIP room and had a window out to the street. The staff was very friendly and helped us where they could. The...

We stayed here for one night expecting great service for the money we paid and received les than poor service. The included complimentary 'continental' breakfast consisted of cold eggs and mouldy toast and cold fried rice, empty juice jugs and no hot drinks. The room was supposed to have a tea, coffee to use in the room but there was...

I tried to check into our prepaid room but was first told we were too late. Than we were told the room was freshly painted for us 2 days ago and they didn't think it was good that our 5 yr old to sleep there because of the smell. We were offered a room in another hotel for the night....

Rooms are cramped and located next to a noisy bar/disco. They could not prepare an invoice for me, despite having requested it in advance. I have been waiting for weeks for the invoice, and they have not answered my emails.

This hotel is good value for its location - but it's the type of place you want to stay just to sleep in - you won't really want to hang out for too long in the day. It could be a little cleaner and fresher but its great value for being in such a good location.

Stayed at the King Star Hotel after another hotel I had booked at stuffed up our booking. Initially, they tried to palm off a superior room as a deluxe room for USD $50 however the room they provided, was really cramped, dated and next to a noisy bar. It was only after we complained they upgraded us to a VIP...

The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was good. However, the hotel is dirty. The walls have stains and the rooms need a very thorough cleaning. We had to wear shoes in our room. For the price you can do much better.
