The rooms were ok, and the location was central for all backpackers. The only thing was that the staff were not helpful when trying to check in and out. We ended up getting a family room for 3 instead of a triple room and then charged more. Also, it is down an alley which at night was not so good...

Room is dirty and the windows do not have a lock. They do not offer a safe to store personal items. Shower room is pathetic with a wonky toilet, wet floor with hairs all over it. Open soap been there for god knows how long. No toilet roll and toothpaste stains from the guests before, also I would like to...

We travelled a lot and made very good experiences with the hotel saff in Vietnam. Unfortunately the staff at Thanh Guesthouse was very unfriendly and tried to rip us off. Twice. There was a dripping tab (wet floor...) and no toilet paper. Room was too small. Do not stay there!

Good, clean and cheap guesthouse right in the centre of the backpacker area. It is located in a small alley, but don't worry this alley is safe. Family who owns it lives there too and there is always someone around in case you need anything. We booked the room through agoda (seemed to be the cheapest from all booking sites...

The hotel is really good located. From the mainbackpackerstreet it's hidden in a little alley. We really enjoyed the little alley and it looks like your living between the locals. The people around the hotel and the family are very friendly. Before hidden off to Saigon we heard terrible stories about the safety of ourself and our stuff. In this...

We felt very ripped off after staying one night at Than Guesthouse and can't recommend it at all! For 15 $ there are much nicer places in the area, the room we stayed in isn't worth more than 10 $. The room was very tiny, to the point where it was difficult to move around with two people and luggage....

The place is a little hard to find if you try and walk there from the bus, it's in the middle of the backpacker district so really central, but tucked down an alley that looks like is just local housing. Most places around will direct you. We arrived early and they let us in and up to our room which...

All in all thanh guesthouse is a great place to spend a few nights which exploring HCM. Hidden down a side street in the lovely Pham Ngu Laos district it offers quiet rooms in the middle of the mayhem. Our double room was large and came equipped with air con,tv and a fridge for a very reasonable price. When a...

Great value, amazing location right on the main back packers strip but just tucked away so it wasn't noisy at night. The staff were so friendly all the time. The beds were comfortable and clean and our air conditioning was really good. We had a decent tv and fridge in our room too, it was so much more than what...
