As a regular traveller, and a smoker, finding a smoke-friendly hotel is pretty difficult and most people (smokers included) never make any mention of these facilities in their posts. FAIFOO is smoker friendly! After traveling for 36 hours, I needed a cigarette, a cold beer and a hot shower. Faifoo fulfilled all 3. The hotel is reasonably close to the... More

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were rather pleased with it. The front desk staff was very nice and very helpful the whole time. The free breakfast was delicious! There is a good restaurant (Juliette's Garden) right next door that has live music at night and the food is rather good. (They don't speak much English, but it's... More

We only stayed one evening and met the owner, Tina who was very warm. The location of the hotel was in a smaller alley with a very cute entry way. We found the room clean and spacious, it opened up to the courtyard behind the hotel. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast the next day. It was about a 30 minute drive... More

Well, you get what you paid for. We thought this place was close to the airport, took us about 25 mins to get to the hotel. Shower was in very poor condition. Room was not comfortable at all, it was creepy and dingy. Elevator is tiny, when we headed to the room we had a "balcony" room but the end... More

We booked this hotel under the assumption that this hotel was located in the central area- as so many previous reviews and descriptions stated so. What we discovered is that this hotel is actually located about 20-25 minutes from the main district of the city. This was our first time in Vietnam so we found this frustrating as tourists. However,... More

We only stayed for one night in Faifoo and it was a good transit hotel if you're not in a great hurry. You should be able to get a taxi for about 150000 from airport, or you can save by using GrabACar app. We forgot our laptop to the airplane and the staff at the hotel was very helpful and... More

We stayed at this place 2 years ago and had kept a fond memory of the peaceful environment, friendly staff, and good pho for breakfast. If you go Deluxe, the room is comfy and spacious with good air con. The place has changed though, and sadly not in a good way. I recognised some of the staff but they seemed... More

I suspect strongly that any positive review of this hotel is fraudulent. Here are just a few of the problems we encountered: _ Despite claims of 24-hour concierge, there was no one available to return our passports when we needed to depart at 6 a.m. on our final morning there. _ Despite claims of safe boxes in each room, the... Actually, this hotel nice for stay. Quite enough, but so far from mid of town. Little bit difficult found some food, specially halal food, nobody can speak English. Before we check out, we must pay for our breakfast, while include. Not happy ending for us.

A great place to stay to get away from the hustle of Saigon. At the end of a small street, next to a cafe, and near good Vietnamese restaurants (not much western food nearby). Taxi's are easy to get and it costs about $5 to ride into the city center and $9 to the airport by taxi.
