Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We started our tour here at the Saigon Price Hotel and what a perfect way to start our trip to Vietnam. The staff is outstanding, the room was very comfortable, location was great and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The only thing we didn't enjoy, but it may be just us, was the Saturday night lobster buffet. We found that very, very disappointing. But that can't distract from the actual hotel - which again, was great.

I really liked the hotel it is in the best position for a stay in Ho Chi Minh. All the Staff were friendly. It is noisy though outside but we stayed during lunar new year and the singing started at 7 or 8 am until about midnight. I can't comment on other times though A couple of things I would like to point out to the hotel that was a little irritating was the key card entry to rooms and lift kept not working we had new cards issued about 7 times for the 2 rooms in a four day stay... The staff issued cards without hesitation. The last thing is for one day and night the air conditioning wasn't working and there could of been a little better communication. To recap this is a positive review and I would stay there again.

Love the location of this hotel and the ambience. The staff are all very friendly and efficient and the breakfast buffet is excellent (except the coffee). My only complaint is the bathrooms need upgrading, especially the shower. This was my third time here and I will return.

What a great buffet meal we had at the Saigon Prince Hotel the choice was excellent and the fried rice was some of the best I’ve ever had. Plenty of choice of both main and dessert and drinks included The hotel is ideally located just down from the French Chateau which is now the city hall and the statue of Ho Chi Minh

I’ve visited HCMC many times over the years trying several of the hotels. I (we) stayed in the Saigon Prince Hotel a few years ago and it was the obvious choice for this visit. The location, staff and rooms are everything I look for in a “comfortable” stay. Most of the “touristy” places to visit are within walking distance or it’s easy to get a car/motorbike taxi to anywhere. Another comment - the buffet breakfast is the best I’ve found in HCNC.

Don't stay here on weekends, there is a night club next door that plays loud music until the next morning until 7am. Even though I stayed on the other side of the hotel, I can still feel the vibration on the window. On week days noisy until 1am. They give us only tiny bottles of water. The breakfast is good. Location is good. The street is closed on weekends.

Overall very good experience at Saigon Prince Hotel! AESTHETICS: Very nice first impression, spacious with high ceiling and clean. Nice bedroom with city view. LOCATION: Very good location at the heart of downtown. Situated on the main street, it's full of cafes/bars, restaurants, shops, banks, etc. around. Please note that it's naturally noisy especially at night time and during the weekend. Thankfully, our sleep wasn't disturbed even if our room was facing the main street (eg 5th floor). Please also note that the street is reserved for pedestrians only during certain hours during the weekend. It's also 25min of drive from Tan Son Nhat International airport. FACILITIES: I wish we could've spent more time to explore the hotel and its restaurant and pool area, but my family and I spent most of our limited days outside in the city. Amenities: Fully furnished with bathroom accessories, slippers and bathrobes, hair dryer, AC, safe, etc. AC repair - We booked 2 rooms and our second room's AC wasn't working properly upon check in. We called and they came for a fix quickly. SERVICE: Check in / Check out - Both processes happened smoothly. Compared to our hotel experiences in other cities in Vietnam, I'd say we received a warmer welcoming from the front desk with welcome drinks elsewhere. At Saigon Prince Hotel, it's more business-like. We had to request for a late check out as our flight time was very late at night and the the staff was very accommodating with us. Staff - Professional and helpful. Everyone is responsive and kind. There's some inconsistency from the concierge team where the doormen weren't always present unlike other hotels services in Vietnam. Our check out happened on a weekend when the main street was closed off for pedestrians. We received the help to carry our luggage tothe next street to load our luggage into our pickup car for the airport. We really appreciated this gesture. TRIVIA: - The overall service was very good though I think it could aim for improvement. The clientele service felt very business-like (eg request followed by action) rather than creating a relationship with the guests (eg checking for feedback such as how was the guest's stay experience like).

This hotel is in the perfect location. Near bars and restaurants, the choices are endless. The hotel is clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff were there to help you at any time. I recommend the Seafood Buffet o the Friday night, food was delicious and abundance of seafood to choose from.

It was the worst experience with a hotel. We had booked 6 rooms and at 2 pm we were given only 3 rooms as the rooms were not ready. By 4.30 we got the balance rooms. The air conditioner was not working in 3 rooms and after repeated complaints and technician visits we were given a room at 7.30 pm and another at 11 pm. The 3rd room had to be used by us without the air conditioner working The next day when we wanted to speak to the manager, Mr. DANG THANH NAM was at the front desk and his behaviour and attitude was very rude and unimaginable. A person at the front desk of a Hotel can never be someone like him. I am surprised as to how the management has kept him there. He does not know how to speak to customers. I would never again visit Saigon Prince Hotel and would even suggest others not to do so if you people do not want to ruin your hotel experience.

It’s the most horrible hotel that we have ever stayed in. Even though we reached around 3 pm in the afternoon, the room wasn’t ready and we had to wait for 15/20 min. Then they gave us a room of a lower category in which the AC wasn’t working. 11 pm at night when we requested them to change our room, they said that the hotel is full and no rooms are available. After a huge argument they moved us to another room whose AC wasn’t working either. DO NOT EVER STAY IN THIA HOTEL. NOR LET YOUR FRIENDS EVER STAY HERE.
