Yes the rooms may be a little shabby but for the $20 you pay you get a great air con and fan, comfy bed, tv, great service and the best location. 5 mins walk to the markets. Plenty of great restaurants with many different cuisines and of course a highly rated bakery just next door, the ABC Bakery. We stayed... More

Never go in this hotel!!! Our photo camera has been stolen in the locked room while we went out for dinner. As we came back, the staff was highly nervous and somehow couldn't understand English anylonger as we wanted the keys. All our pictures from 3 werks in Vietnam are gone and we are completely pissed off!

We had to stay at this hotel as the one we were staying in promised us another night, however the next day told us there were no rooms. We just happened to go in and ask how much for a night, the price was reasonable so we stayed. The room was large, bed was OK and the bathroom had hot... More

We arrived on an early morning train and it was still dark when we found this open hotel and snagged it. However we didn't notice the black sludge on the bathroom counter and tons of mildew, mold and dirt all over until the sunshine came and we woke from our nap. My friend stepped on some broken glass somewhere in... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in July. I was charged 15 $ a night which is a standard enough price in the area. My room was large and had enough furniture. However, the room itself was a little dirty with a dirty mat on the floor and dust balls under the bed. It was the kind of place where... More

The room was huge with nice rattan furniture. Air-con was working properly but hot water was a problem. Remember not to take a room with a street view as it is a noisy one, even at night. The location is almost perfect - no need to take a taxi or rent a motorbike to see the majority of Saigon's sights.

The hotel is in a very good location, next door to loads of restaurants and cafes. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even though it may take a while to get used to their English... And the bakery opens at six in the morning. The rooms are spacious and the staff is more than friendly. I don't know whether you're supposed to talk about rates, but for $22.00 dollars you can get a room that looks over the park. And get this, the room measures 27'X13'. That's big. Some peoples homes are smaller...even in the... More
