I've been living in Saigon for almost a year and went to the restaurant today for the Brazilian food.
We ordered feijoada, couve, farofa and coxinha. The coxinha came first (20 min after we ordered) and it wasn’t awful, but wouldn’t taste like even the...More

Travelling at this level has it's consequences. As you know the food is extremely cheap at this restaurant and it's quite obvious the kitchen is not sterile being exposed to the lane. It's not always possible to pinpoint the source of bugs: perhaps on a stair rail or the elevator buttons or a glass. Even to upgrade your style is no guarantee but your budget will notice the difference. I've been travelling for 50 years and love doing it as basically as possible even though cost in not an issue. I simply love being as close as possible to the reality of the country I visit. Good luck next time.
