We stayed here for 2 nights in February. This was a lovely change from staying in a hotel. We had a 3 double bedroom apartment, all with their own bathroom facilities. The living room, balconies - amazing views across the river, kitchen and dining areas were tastefully furnished, along with WiFi throughout. Breakfast was served by the riverside. A free speedboat shuttle was available to the city.
On the whole a brilliant stay. Would definitely return.

Domaine Saigon was recommended to us by a regular visitor to HCMC and we can see why. Each apartment is generous - huge. It has large and comfortable living areas, a kitchen with clothes washer and dryer, stunning bedrooms. The grounds are gorgeous. Staff are fantastic and there is daily daily shuttle buses to HCMC. Why book a hotel room when you can have real luxury!

What a totally hidden gem this place is. Over looking the Saigon river. Lovely gardens, swimming pool, sauna, gym as part of the complex. We had a fully serviced 3 bedroom apartment with large bedrooms, en-suite to master bedroom incl separate toilet with King size bed, and extra bathroom for the other two bedrooms. An extra two toilets as well. Huge lounge, dinning and 12 person balcony. Fully equipped kitchen with washing & drying machine dishwasher etc.
I have traveled the world for many years and never found accommodation like this. The staff could not have been more helpful. It is a little out of town 10 mins by taxi. Or for a local experience jump on the 44 local bus 6,000 dong and straight into town 15 mins. There is also a shuttle bus operated by the hotel.
I look forward to returning to Saigon Domain my home away from home now.

Saigone Domaine is an absolute unique dream hotel with a traditional charm. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we were enveloped in a sense of calm and serenity that provided a welcome escape from Ho Chi Minh city's vibrant and noisy energy.

The lush greenery, the inside garden and outside terraces create an oasis-like atmosphere, offering a peaceful retreat. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort's design is truly remarkable, reflecting the essence of Vietnam’s beauty and charm.

My stay at Saigone Domaine was exceptional. I loved the view from my apartment! The accommodations were elegant and spacious, furnished with high-quality wooden chairs and tables, providing a perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional charm. My accommodation was equipped with two spacious bathroom, two terraces facing all sides of the river and a big kitchen.

I especially also enjoyed the moments of relaxation by the pool, surrounded by swaying palm trees, the Ho Chi Minh City river and the gentle melody of birdsong.

The staff at Saigone Domaine went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was unforgettable. They were very friendly, respectful and professional.

I loved staying at the residence. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or as a longer term residence. I cannot recommend Saigone Domaine highly enough and look forward to returning soon for another unforgettable stay!

I have been staying in Saigon Domaine for the past 20 years and will continue to do so in the future. Being close to city center and District 1, but away from the crowd and pollution is incredible. Saigon Domaine is also next to Sai Gon river. The neighborhood is the last one in Saigon to be surrounded by nature. Rooms are actually apartments (the smallest is over 70 m2) and they are furnished with a kitchen, enabling you to cook or buy grocery should you want to. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Saigon Domaine and will be back soon!

Services are scaled down compared to 3-4 years ago.Big tv in living room, we cannot watch it, only stands as a stationary.
Shuttle bus is only available 3 times a day. No more shuttle ships. No buffet, breakfast at room. No options to choose juice, orange juice only..! I asked the receptions if I can borrow nail clipper, they don’t have it. Washing machine doesn’t have function of dryer.
Amenities, shampoo and body gel only. No conditioner…
So spacious rooms are nice but their service is terrible.
Far from the city centre. Probably this hotel will close soon…

Nice apartment, not so nice neighbor hood
These apartments are lovely and spacious. The local area doesn’t offer much to the traveler though. You’re a long way from anything. There aren’t places or shopping in walking distance to visit. The restaurant’s nearby don’t cater to the tourists. The roads are dangerous as the footpaths are non existent and the traffic on the road is busy.
The breakfast at the apartments was very ordinary too. The pool looked nice but even though we had paid for multiple nights, we left after one. We didn’t feel particularly safe out on the streets.

Response from Saigon Domaine Residences, Owner at Saigon Domaine Luxury Residences
Responded 13 Oct 2022
Dear W4156YZjaned, Thanks for the reviews. By the way, our premises located the heart of Thanh Da peninsula island within Ho Chi Minh city. This is the last green area in the city. There are plenty of articles on the internet writing about the location. Thanh Da island also known a haven F&B areas where most restaurants take advantage of beauty Saigon river to develope business. Moreover, Food & drinks costs are much less expensive than in town, district 1 or district 2. Yes, The traffic are more busy now as the peninsula are better known. We wish you had another revisit this area and thank you very much for your kind attention and support. Best regards, Saigon Domaine Residences

This is not really a hotel, more of a serviced apartment with colonail-style decor and ambience. Upon arrival we were amazed to see it was in fact a very large apartment with two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and 3 bathrooms! The furnishings were of very high quality and it was extremely clean. Better still, it was amazingly quiet. All this for US$90 per night. The pool and garden area was lovely and the reception staff spoke good English, always willing to help with calling taxis or booking restaurants. Room service was also good.

The only slight disadvantage was the location - not central as compared with the Sheraton or Hyatt. However, at half the price and with regular & free shuttles to the city centre, I would go back there in the future without any doubt. Being such a noisy city, I would not be keen to stay in the city centre!

My wife and I stayed here for the last 3 nights of our time in Vietnam having been in the country for 2 weeks. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment- very nice....but don't believe the hotel claims to be peaceful.
We were recommended to ask for a room facing the river, which we got. But there is a river both back and front! Our view was lovely but despite being on the 10th floor the road was very busy and noisy from bikes, with a local cafe on one side and karaoke bar the other. This latter establishment opened until 6 am when we were there and was extremely noisy.
The hotel proudly claims to be a member of the Prestige hotels of the world. They say they are "surrounded by natural beauty, combining peace, elegance and tradition" This is untrue- the area outside the hotel is very scruffy being a play area for local kids at night.
Now having been in Vietnam for 2 weeks you might think I am naive but I did expect more from this hotel and there is some misrepresentation around the claim of "peace"

Reluctant to submit this review because word will eventually get out about just how good Saigon Domaine Residences really are. This was our third short stay there over the past five years and the place just keeps getting better and better. We were two couples staying four nights, I had requested a two bedroom apartment but was delighted to find they had put us in a huge, three bedroom, three bathroom apartment with separate kitchen. The apartments are beautifully furnished, interesting artwork and decor and serviced daily. They have improved their breakfast offering from previous visits, which is available on the deck by Saigon riverside. Great pool, well maintained gardens and as other reviewers have commented a peaceful haven away from HCMC cbd. Apart from a minor hiccup with airport transfer and boat shuttle service, we couldn't have been happier. Hope not too many people read this review, because I am concerned Saigon Domaine will become more and more popular and I mightn't be able to make reservations for our next visit. P.S. Price is very reasonable also.

How often does the boat shuttle go to district 1 and what are the times?
Answer from John A
Australia62 contributions46 helpful votes
As Ian from Perth has advised best to check Saigon Domaine's website because they do change their shuttle times quite often. By memory there are two morning boat shuttles and two late afternoon/early evening shuttles. They also run regular bus shuttles into District 1 through the day and these are very convenient because the driver will basically drop you wherever you want to go. Also, worth remembering that it is a very inexpensive cab fare to and from the city - not the fun of the speed boat but sometimes far more practical.

Standard electric in ours, when we were there, but I believe all the units are different. But if it has gas I would assume it isn’t plumbed in. They are peoples appartments that I believe they rent in the off-season. They would have most modern ammenities. You will love it.

Sure is! Just find a good food stand and use the vegetarian translation word, what ever that may be or ask a cab driver.
