Very fast free Wi Fi
Very quick check in
Clean rooms (bathroom has 2 showers and bath

Bar outside in the beautiful garden's (nice cocktails)
Pay 50,000 Dong for a pedal bike ride to the markets (it's like $3)
Quiet room. (248)
Friendly staff that speak good english.

Con's- Massage lady and male massage manager asked for a tip. (Never ever ask for a tip) I would have given one if they did not ask.

We spent 1 night at Saigon Morin Hotel. The location is the best you can probably get for a city trip. The room was lovely - well decorated with old colonial style architecture and has a garden area to the centre where breakfast is served. Breakfast was tasty with a lot of variety. Would certainly stay here again and represents excellent value for money.

This is a wonderful hotel. The location is great right along the Perfume River and not far from the Dong Ma market, as well as lots of eating options. The buffet breakfast was excellent with Asian and western offerings. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were large and comfortable. The coffee shop right next to the hotel has the best pineapple shake you could hope for. We stayed at a Hilton in Hanoi that cost twice as much and was half as nice. We were surprised at less than 5* reviews. It's an older hotel with charm and wonderful service. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights in March, beautiful location easy walking distance to restaurants bars and attractions. Unfortunately when we arrived the shower was a dribble the fridge didn’t work which had to be replaced then we found the safe was not working so we were unimpressed that there was no apology. When we went for breakfast the next morning we were surprised everything was outside hot food was cold and to top it all the birds were helping themselves to the bread and pastries which none of which was covered. Not a peaceful breakfast either with the building work going on behind. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and especially one member of breakfast staff who managed to get me some natural yogurt

Vintage and Elegant experience. The hotel was 121 years old and still keep many traditional tasks including replacing the carpet inside elevator every morning, afternoon and evening which I found very fascinating. The hotel also has a very beautiful garden for breakfast, with three or four 100-year old trees, and a romantic fountain. My room was located on 2nd floor with spectacular view oversee Trang Tien bridge and Perfume river. Although it's near the street but it's not that noisy. The location is perfect since it's near everything!
The only thing I would advice to improve it's the buffet counters for breakfast in the garden should be better take care, as it has quite few fruit flies around every dishes without the lids. Moreover, the food need quicker refill as it disapears very quickly. Overall, my experience was wonderful.

This hotel certainly has historical charm in a great location opposite the river and walking street. The rooms are spacious and clean with antique style furnishings. Breakfast was served in the beautiful courtyard which is probably the hotels best feature. The pool area was a bit neglected with rundown deck chairs and pool towels the size of hand-towels, however it has the potential to be a lovely space. The Staff are very helpful and efficient. Decent value for what you pay.

This is a wonderful historic hotel in a great location.

The rooms are a little dated, however they are antique rather than shabby. The room was also massive!

Buffet breakfast was a large selection of items and options are changed daily.

We had 3 river view rooms for our family of 5.
River view is street so some noise and view not impressive. Historic but with nice hardwood and a lot of space.
Teens enjoyed the pool table and the swimming pool looked nice but we did not use.

Not impressed with breakfast which was indoors due to rain - food just felt obligatory in comparison to other lovely breakfasts throughout Vietnam
lobby and garden, dining can use an update.

Head right over the bridge to emperial city and also easy walk to restaurants

Hotel Saigon Morin was built with French elegance and colonial splendour at a time when life was lived with more elan. The decor is rich with dark wood, including the floors. The lobby is gracious and spacious but the piece de resistance is the outdoor garden with century trees and fountains and that’s where you have the most delicious breakfast.
We spent three nights in this not to be missed place. It is right across the street from the Perfume River and a lovely walk along its banks.

Hue is an oasis if history and calm and the Saigon Morin makes it even more so.

Shampoo, lotion, soap, combs, and other amenities are in the room. A hair dryer is provided. Laundry service is available in the hotel but is cheaper outside the hotel. Bottled water is complementary and refurbished every day. The staff is most helpful. We have stayed there twice and intend to return again. I hope this helps!
