Stayed there recently. We were happy with the location. It overlooks the market and is near the floating village.

Some sound can be heard from the street. eg someone's car alarm was unfortunately running for 10+ minutes.

We took a taxi from the airport. I guess if you are at the airport, busses at the airport will go to the bus station which is close to Brunei Hotel. Personally traveling with bags on the bus is not recommended.
