Very nice Place in a very familiar and friendly athmosphere, Axel, the owner is taking care of business himself, and is always in for a nice party, as well of helping out his clients with good ideas of all kind of activities, the rooms are nice clean, and offer everything you need for a few days in Town, location is...

The three day Mekong River cruise my wife and took on the single cabin Gecko Eyes barge was one my best ever Asia experiences and revealed a surprisingly authentic look at daily life on the banks of the River Mekong. We took the one cabin boat which had air-conditioned cabin and bathroom, dining room aft and loungers on the upper...

Stayed here because our other hotel was vile. $15 for one night / $20 with air con for a private double room. Overpriced in my eyes however ok modern room, Central location. We'd travelled from Sihanoukville all day and had to travel all day to Vietnam the next day, the nice French owner knew this however didn't think twice about...

The downstairs bar is the hub of the hotel and has a great atmosphere - its a great place to meet and chat to the large group of locals and travellers it attracts. Axel...

The little bar acts as reception, office and conference room. It is a meeting spot for all walks of life, from global back packers (Axel keeps a close...

Clearly you can see from other people's reviews that there are mixed feelings about this place. I stayed here for five nights in December 2011 and had a lovely time. I was greeted by Axel, a very relaxed, fun, and welcoming person. The two large front rooms are fantastic. Axel offered me a really good price on what feels like...

My family stayed 2 nights in this hotel in January 2011 during a trip touring Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. We took 3 rooms. It was the worst hotel we stayed in by a significant margin. Examples: A shower would not drain due to being blocked with accumulated hair. The “special” shower in the large apartment didn’t work at all. The...
