I had a great experience at the happy hostel. The rooms were quite plain but had their own bathroom in the dorm and each bed had its own fan. For 5 dollars a night I was quite happy. They also have larger dorms for $4. Alex and his wife at the front desk were very friendly and my friends and...

The girl manager working in the reception was so rude that I had to check out after 10 min. I used the 10 min to book another hostel. The reception area is a bar with a pool table. The dorm is just in the corner and anybody can walk in since the door was not locked and no key was...

The hostel is in a great location just a few blocks from the river (and right across the street from an amazing bubble tea place!). The rooms were nothing special and there were some ants in the bathroom (though this seems to be the case in a lot of places on Cambodia), but for $10 a night (we spring for...

At $6 a night for a double room with shower you can't possibly complain. Very basic - no toiletries supplied as they are in all other guest houses I've stayed in. Toilet roll is rationed and use too much you have to pay. Rooms are small and need decorating but are clean. Most staff are helpful and friendly. Iron doors...

When we checked in, we were quoted a cheap price for a double private room with private bathroom. After check-in, we discovered that the bathroom was across the hall and anyone could(and did) use it. Went to complain and were told by other staff member that the bathroom was never private and if we didn't want people to use it,...

On arrival here late at night all we wanted was a bed to sleep in and some food. The rooftop bar was very lively and looked a lot of fun but we decided to get some sleep as we had been travelling the whole day from Laos. We settled down for the night and eventually got to sleep however the...

I've lived in Phnom Penh for 3 months and been to many hotels/guesthouses here (either for a meal, drink, or to use their pool). When people have come to Phnom Penh, I recommend 11 Happy guesthouse to them. It's in a great location, in Riverside, on Street 136. The old address of St 107 is listed, but they moved to...

Our tuk tuk driver took us here after a long bus ride from Siem Reap (7hours) and at first I thought the music and just plan loudness of the lobby area would go way after maybe 10pm, but it didn't and it goes until 2am! We dropped our bags and went to dinner, came back and realized it was more...
