After opening our famous Pavilion boutique hotel, we realised, as people with family ourselves, that Phnom Penh needed a resort that was family orientated and child friendly. The historic colonial house we found on Oknha Peich Street with its 3500m2 of surrounding land was perfect. Caring, friendly staff, lots of nature for children to explore, the Kabiki is a place to relax, take a swim and lounge in the sun between days exploring Phnom Penh and the nearby attractions of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum and the riverside. We planted over 500 native trees, many of which we've placed name tags on so you can identify them yourselves.

The hotel didnt really match our expectation. We were hoping for more activities for the children and a friendlier welcome from the staff. The rooms are comfortable but on our trip we paid less for better rooms.

This place convinced by the beautiful garden where you can relax at the pool, eat or have a drink. Rooms are nice and clean. The Kabiki is located in a closed and thus quiet road (president is living there). Walkable distance to the riverside promenade and to the royal palace. In January 2020 there was a large building construction making some noise during the day. Avoid getting rooms to the noisy side. However, we would come again.

Hello BP500, Thank you for the wonderful review, we are thankful for your kind words. In deed, we tried to talk and suggested them to give to us their specific working time and they super kind, too to let us know. As well as, they said, they will try the best not to bother us as much as they could. We 're looking to see you soon for your next trip to Phnom Penh. best regards, Samnang

We had a lovely time at Kabiki. It’s an oasis in the middle of the city. The location is fantastic - it’s close to the royal palace, to some restaurants and to wat botum (playground and park). The hotel is lovely and quiet, the pools are rarely busy but are a little chilly due to the gardens being shaded. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed here with our 2 year old boy who loved running around the gardens, looking at the turtle and fish and playing on the swing. We had an issue with the air con on our first night so we were provided with a fab which was fine and the air con was fixed he next day. And we were given some money off our bill which we were not expecting - excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

We had a nice few nights at the Kabiki Hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was spotless, simple but stylishly furnished. The bed was so comfortable and the hotel is quiet, so it made for a restful stay. There is a bat living in the roof above the balcony of our room, which made a lot of mess on the balcony. Bat droppings and food. Where the hotel lacked in my opinion, is in the details. For example no handsoap or flannels in the bathroom. No handtowels in the pool toilets. The restaurant menu lacks imagination and the portions are tiny. Breakfast was disappointing compared to other hotels I've stayed in Cambodia. The restaurant staff are nice but very young and inexperienced and I wasn't aware of a supervisor. You also need to be aware of the number of rats running around the hotel grounds!

We loved our stay at The Kabiki over new year. It was a real oasis within the busy capital city. The pool was lovely, the gardens beautiful, the bedrooms spacious and comfy and breakfast delicious! The staff were really friendly and make fantastic cocktails! The location is great as it's down a road that's closed to traffic so is super quiet. There is a handy supermarket nearby for snacks and it's pretty close to the palace and museum. Our whole family (including two six year olds) loved this hotel.

and probably it would be perfect if I got some different room? The one I had, right next to the reception was average. Spacious, comfortable enough but it lacked this 'something', wasn't cozy and in fact some noise could be heard inside. Apart from that everything was really good, starting from the beautiful gardens, through the pool, bar to the wonderful people around, always happy to help. It was a real pleasure to run back to the hotel from the craziness of Phnom Penh.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights. The room wasn’t large but was nicely furnished and it did have air con, a king bed, a single bed and 2 bunks. The kids really enjoyed cooling off in the pool in the hot afternoons and the trees surrounding the pool really give the place the feel of an oasis. The location of the hotel is amazing - in the centre of the city and within walking distance to some tourist attractions but really quiet. It is on the same street as the Prime Minister’s House so security prevents you driving into the street and it backs onto the North Korean consulate. Breakfast was good - we particularly liked the fried rice but the continental breakfasts were good too.

We stayed three days in the jungaloo glamping option over New Year at this small hotel. Major highlights for us were location (easy walking, tuktuk or remorque to major sights) and the pool and garden area with a colonial style reception which provide a real ‘green’ refuge once you have been out and about in hot Phnom Penh. Jungaloo is comfortable, modern and well equipped, offering a little privacy from the main areas (which are family friendly, also with a few coming in for day use of the pool). There is a little noise from people speaking on the road and the inevitable Asian birds and geckos who love to call at night however hotel is very quiet in general, despite its central location, due to little road traffic as it is on a private road. Menu was khmer and western. I might have liked to see a vegetarian Khmer curry on the menu as well as the existing veggie options just for one more (spicier) choice. If you have an appointment to make perhaps mention when ordering. Good shower room for check out day if you have a late flight; hotel makes easy transfer arrangements. In general Kabiki makes Phnom Penh an easy and enjoyable stay! Happy New Year.

This place was perfect. Location was central to the national museum and palace, and also walking distance to the riverside with several great shops near the hotel. Hotel ambiance is as relaxed, rooms had everything we needed, and the swimming pool was lovely

The Kabiki is an oasis of serenity in the heart of the hectic hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh. A restorative retreat to return to after exploring the city. Super great for families wanting a safe environment.
