This hotel is a not bad 4 star place to stay at. Service is nice. Rooms are spacious and have everything one needs. Breakfast is decent for the price. The biggest disadvantage is the location. King hotel is located deep on right bank of Astana far from all amenities. If u r planning just to sleep there and spend the...

Maybe it is because you feel like you become a little bit Soviet?! At first it feels like a bit of a barn, but after a while the lovely staff and the sheer convenience of the place begin to sink in and you just go with it!

Good hotel in Astana. Price, service quality, room size, and cleaness in the hotel are just fine with the price around $45. Breakfast and dinner are included, and the quality is not bad at all. If u dont know where to eat, you can save ur money and time by having 2 mills at hotel. Will be nicer, if windows...

The major drawback of this hotel is the misleading name and rating. This place is definitely not a 4-star and far from being a residence of a king. The hotel is rather shabby, everything, except probably the lobby, desperately requires renovation. The atmosphere of the Soviet hotel is felt everywhere, despite friendly service and well equipped rooms - mostly everything...

Hotel booked by client. 1980's 'opulence' decor, stale cigarettes smell, and a malfunctioning toilet that poured water my entire stay. Generously sized rooms. Very poor finishes. The funniest thing I have ever seen in a hotel: the ab sailing safety harness you're meant to use to repel 17 stories out your window in the event of fire - yikes!

His hotel is a good choice in Astana, it is well located close to "new old town" of Astana and you can walk around to many places easily. The new town is 15 minutes away by taxi. Try to ask the receptionist to see a few rooms before checking in, the room sizes and layouts vary widely within the same...

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Mattress very firm, but this is common in Asia. Also our room included complimentary breakfast and supper! Make sure to ask about this. Also right next to Epocha which is a great place to eat (don't miss it).
