Our stay here was very comfortable indeed. It's a beautiful hotel by the river front (although not much of a river at the moment, being the dry season!) with excellent staff and well appointed rooms. The breakfast was good and the location, although a little out of the way, was also good. You can get a tuk tuk if you...

We only stayed one night at the Hotel Beau Rivage, so it's difficult to get an accurate evaluation of the place. Our room was incredibly spacious. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The internet was fast and efficient. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel is located a little bit away from the main centre, but it's...

Stayed 3 nights - a great place with lovely staff. No complaints and a fantastic bar restaurant next door. Would stay again!

The hotel is very clean and the rooms spacious. Even have a bath. Staff friendly and helpful, nevertheless streetdogs fighting wakes you up at 03:00 almost every night ( stayed for 3 nights). The front rooms with Mekong "view" are very noisy (streetnoise+dogs) and the "view" is only for the guard who can look right into your room from across...

I enjoyed this place so much that I returned at the end of my trip. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and most have a bath, as well as a shower, and a separate toilet. The decor has lovely Laos silk hangings, which is appropriate. Staff are courteous, professional, well trained, polite and speak good English. Breakfast is included and has...

We booked here for 1 night after reading the glowing review in Lonely Planet and when we arrived we weren't disappointed. We managed to get an upgrade on our room as they confused our booking with someone else's and agreed we could keep it for the price of a standard at $50. The room itself was stunning, corner bath made...

Beau Rivage Mekong Hotel is great located, very close to good restaurants and any facilities in Vientiane. Our room was a good size, clean, very light and the bathroom had an amazing shower which was lovely. Everything in the hotel looks new, clean and well done....the only thing I'd say it lacked was a bit of character but for 2...

Quirky, comfortable and charming rooms and absolutely lovely staff who made us feel welcome at every opportunity. The restaurant/bar opposite 'The Spirit House' is fantastic, great food, great service even when dealing with a large group of twelve, which can be tricky. Even if you don't stay at Beau Rivage, I'd recommend going to the restaurant, sipping a cocktail and...

I booked this hotel based on the reviews in tripadvisor and was not disappointed. The hotel is located on the bank of the Mekong and from our room we had a great view of the river. The hotel is within walking distance to town. Next door and under the same ownership (Australian) is the Spirit Bar - a very good...

This is a riverfront hotel with a great bar / restaurant attached. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms quirky but very clean - we stayed on the 3rd floor where the rooms are all blue; better I suspect than the 2nd floor where they are all pink! The main downsides are the fact that the...
