There were 60 or 70 in our group, I can only repeat my own view of lunch and those I spoke to or heard. First course for our lunch was a plate of salad. The lettuce was good, the three pieces of tasteless feta cheese mean, the salad dressing was also lacking. Next was the soup, the better part of...

If you like to visit Mongolia, join the Naadam Festival, and wish to have a comfortable or even a luxury stay. HS Khaan Resort will be the best choice. Every (s0-called fake) Ger has its own air conditioning system, 24hr hot water, professional butler service, and the food are relatively tasty. I do enjoy my 3 nights stay in HS...

This is the most luxury ger camp that I have come across so far in Mongolia. The ger is well-equipped with music, bath tub, hot water, etc. There is a dining area, pantry, living and sleeping area. Deck chairs are provided if you prefer to sit outside to watch the big grassland or to gaze stars. The sheep, horses and...

The ger was beautiful and the staff was excellent. The view from the large windows in the ger was absolutely wonderful. We had breakfast at the resort and the food was quite good. Overall the stay was very good. Unfortunately, we did have a few issues. A late spring snow storm hit and the resort lost power. This resulted in...

We arrived at the HS Khan late afternoon, after a very full day of traveling, monasteries, museums and the sort. The lobby/reception area is, though small, very welcoming and quaint. But the great, wonderful, exciting surprise arrived when we reached our ¨ger¨ (room). It was like no other ger we had been during the previous week in Mongolia. It was...

On the day that we were visiting the Mongol Nomadic Camp to have an experience of the Nomadic life and a mini Nadaam Festival at the camp we had planned to have lunch at the HS Khaan Resort. This meant traveling some distance for lunch and then returning it was definitely worth the trip. HS Khaan resort cannot be described...

Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodations. As nice as any luxury hotel. Don't let the thought of staying in a ger cause any concern. This ain't roughing it! And a gourmet meal in the dining ger at the end of the day is icing on the cake. While it seems like you're in the middle of nowhere, the reality is that...

Located about 30 kms from Ulaanbator (about an hour from the airport) with the last 10 kms or so overland and very tricky to find – our drivers got lost more than once trying to locate the entrance - some signposts are the obvious but not yet provided solution. This camp consists of about a dozen or so individual Gers...

All we knew was that we were going to a ger camp so our expectations were low. We drove on rutted dirt tracks to the camp set on the top of a hill. It consisted of about twenty of these round gers. We entered through a small one where you take off your shoes and put on slippers before going...
