Rooms are large, but that's about all it has going for it. Rundown, poor service, bad bed, etc. Desperately needs a renovation. And no wifi. Took me an hour to get all the problems sorted out. Even then, not a pleasant stay. It's not centrally located. I'd stay elsewhere.

The pros of this hotel are: - Large rooms - Excellent air conditioning - Good Chinese restaurant The negatives are: - Location - not in the city centre and not within walking distance of it - Birds - some birds appear to have taken up residence in the foyer / rafters over the foyer and stairs - so they fly...

I stayed here a long time ago but it's a new listing and needs more reviews. My tour guide organised the hotel but then left me to my own devices. Aziya is in a sort of hotel district a bit away from the centre of town - you can walk to the Museum in one direction and to a big...

In the surreal city of Ashgabat Hotel Aziya is a superb choice. Excellent value for money (50 US$ for a double) with an enormous room and a huge bathroom and two ‘single’ beds the size of king bed each. Best heating system in the whole of Central Asia and Iran (well they get it for free) and a massive flat...
