Stayed here 2 nights as the final leg of our tour. Said to be centrally located...but I don't really think they know the meaning of this. It is a good 25 min walk to the Russian bazaar area, without much else being around it (apart from being opposite the circus). Limited dining options although a reasonable restaurant is nearby. The...

The hotel is quite dated. However the room was reasonably sized with a comfortable enough bed. The TV has no English channels but we watched Russian TV. There is a view of the circus and the airport. We walked to the Russian Market one afternoon but otherwise it's quite a bit outside the main marble city. The bath did not...

Room was very good, comfortable, hot shower and can get UK footy on tv! Breakfast average. Booked as part of tour so don' know price. 'Beer garden' was good with delicious 'barbie' food. Though disco guy too loud (sat night) and difficult to have conversation. The large size snooker table had 1 red ball and 15 numbered white balls (no...

The lavish lobby belies the shabby rooms. At least the windows open! Beds are comfortable and water is usually hot. You must pay for wi-fi, as well as bottled water. Reception staff are surly, but there is a lovely young waitress in the restaurant who speaks good english and is very personable. The menu is pretty decent, too, and has...

There are no gripes. The bedroom was large and clean, as was the bathroom. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the circus (which means it was quiet). That was a nice surprise on waking up after arriving early morning. Breakfast is fine, with as much choice as you'll get anywhere in Turkmenistan. The hotel is 10-20 minutes...

This hotel is located exactly in central area. It was planed in soviet time, so if you travel a lot in former USSR countrues - you can easily see here old-soviet style. Meanwhile it is very clean hotel with good service, clean rooms and friendly staff. Only one wish - a little more variety of food for breakfast

On first impressions this looks like a good hotel and while it is well established some work needs to be done. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast choice is standard but the pool area needs work and cleaning once in a while. The loungers are all damaged and the towel guy is never around. While the front desk staff offer...

Large hotel, 10 mins drive from airport. Like many Turkmenistan buildings it looks better from the outside than in. This is a functional hotel with reasonable size rooms, though you need to be on the top floors as there is an extremely loud club, which literally vibrates the ground floor. All looks a bit tired but is perfectly functional. Food...

Whole hotel style reminds one of Eastern block countries from 70's. Rooms are basic with furniture dated. Our bathroom's basin was very slow draining which shows that housekeeping either does not clean properly or maintenance has not responded to this. We had to use the bath facilities instead. Internet is not free. There is a fridge and minibar list but...
