I first stayed at Hotel Park in 2013. Since then I have recomended it to many friends and my most recent stay was as memorable as my first. Sahin the manager was extremely accomdating and I felt very safe as a woman travelling alone. The hotel itself is very cozy, clean and the view from the breakfest terrace is second to...

I have stayed at the Hotel Park on 4 occasions and as a travel agent I can highly recommend this property. It;s got a great location right in the heart of all the tourist sites. It's walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Museum. This hotel is a 3 star property, with a wonderful terrace on...

A quaint little hotel opposite Four Seasons Hotel in Sultanahmet (useful to tell your driver this if you arrive by taxi as everyone seems to know the Four Seasons!) If you don't mind walking up stairs, it's very nice (no lift), and very handy to the main attractions. It's easy to reach by tram, and the young man assisted us...

Great location in close walking distance to all the major sites. I felt safe walking around the area alone at night. Room was clean and patio view was hard to beat (3rd floor rooms). 360 view from the rooftop breakfast area (see photos). Only downside I can think of is no elevator if anyone has mobility problems and WiFi was...

Breakfast was same every day but we were happy with quality and quantity. Breakfast room is situated on roof terrace overlooking magnificent Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque and Bosphorus. This is a fine budget hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly service. Nice rooftop terrace for breakfast and lounging, with outstanding views. Helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet location for something as central as this. We would come back.

Hello friends, I am now here to say you all about Hotel Park. I think many of you are well aware of this but it was my first time I went there with my partner. I just enjoyed a lot with her over there. It was really the best I have ever visited and stayed.

I was very happy with the clean and quiet rooms, comfortable beds, friendly service, fine breakfast, and SPECTACULAR views, and of course the incredibly convenient location. I was deterred from booking this hotel online based on a couple of histrionic negative reviews on this page. I checked it out in person once I got to Istanbul and immediately checked out...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
