I chose this hotel after long searches and reading many reviews. I don't know what are the check lists of a 5 star hotel but I felt like I was staying in a five star hotel. Hotel Location is great for easy walking to Taskim square. Behavior of the staff was very excellent with guests. I wrote to Ms. Suat...

I stayed here for 2 weeks. The locations is pretty good, pretty much the top of Taksim, close to a metro station. The first room i stay in wasnt great. the window looked into an enclosed space, so there was nothing to see but a grey wall out the window and naturally the lighting was great. The second room was...

Clean comfy rooms, room service not bad (chicken Cesar good but do not get the cheese plate) staff not very friendly but get the job done. Location: a busy dusty road which is not in the best location around Taksim. All in all ok.

I stayed at the Titanic City Hotel last week and I can honestly say it was one of the best, most comfortable hotels in Istanbul. The room, on the ninth floor was spacious, with an extremely comfortable double bed, a large flat screen television with a choice of about 40 channels, including CNN, Euronews and BBC World, as well as...

This is our first time to book in this hotel. Our opinion, rooms are too small, staff are always busy and helpless. When we asked for umbrella in the rainy night, they told us these are not available although we saw umbrellas behind the counter. The other day we asked for a taxi, but the reception staff told us just...

Very clean room. Just 5 minutes walk to taksim square and istiklal street. All stuff spoke English very well. Breakfast was very good and variety of all kind of foods. We arrived at 01:30 at midnight but after 10 minutes we were in our room.

We stayed in Titanic City Hotel for 8 nights. Location is right in center of Istanbul city district of Taksim. Near to Bus & Metro stations. Rooms were very comfortable, but the view was bad and windows opened to a wall. Reception staff were not helpful and were angry. Room service was poor. The pool was good. Breakfast was just...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
