The room was so small.Bathroom was so small too and didnt have bathtub or a shower so everywhere and everything was wet.Αt the bed was nothing to cover at nights for dont get cold. The location was near to blue mosque but tricky, you cant find it easily and maybe you ll get lost. Stuff was just ok.

Walk through up and downs...same breakfast every day....building was very old look like..but it's ok..rooms are not up to the mark...cost is reasanble in istanbul .don't think about the room cleaning...overall good for a solo traveller...

This place is the worst I've ever been to. Dirty, small room, the shower was over the wc, the staff was rude..... I have nothing good to say about it. We did not stay for one night. Two hours was more than enough. This was two years ago and the experience still bothers me. Don't go there, it's nothing like...

Nice and cosy room. Nice breakfasts and perfect location just behind a blue mosque. Great view from reception on Bosfor channel. A bit difficult to get to. Convenience shop in the same building with Efes beer

We stayed here for seven nights. The room was small and very basic. However it was warm with hot water shower and aircon heater or blower fan. The bed was clean. Only for those who need a room just to sleep because there wasn't space to move around. The location was excellent near to Blue Mosque. Topkapi. Hagia Sofia and...

Our experience at Anzac Wooden House started at two o'clock in the morning, after a long day of travelling from Izmir. As soon as we got there, they asked us to settle for the 3 nights immediately, No wonder!!!! What we experienced: - Disgusting carpets in the entrance - Useless terrace (it's not a terrace and the view is blocked...

    Staying in Sultanahmet

    Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
