I generally hate paying extra for hotels as I view them as a place to sleep more than an "experience" in of itself. White House Hotel Istanbul is different. It made our brief stay all the more memorable and ensured we know exactly where to stay for future visits to Istanbul. I won't repeat what has been written hundreds of times already here, but can confidentially echo their validity. Every staff member was excellent and our experience was wonderful. I will note we greatly appreciated full control over the room's heating and AC. Other hotels will advertise you have full temperature control, but really you only get "OFF" or "HEAT" and not "COOL" as they don't want to pay extra for your comfort.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our first time visiting Istanbul. Upon check-in, the staff was beyond friendly, and was eager to please, throughout the entire stay, everyone was very friendly, and never made us feel that we were inconveniencing them by asking questions. During check-in, they offered refreshments and made the check-in process easy. They also gave us local good luck charms that was quite sweet. They also decorated our room for our first visit as a couple. The room was not necessarily large, but was decent size and great value for the money. The shower was amazing, that water pressure is no joke! They have a rooftop terrace that is open 24/7 with a coffee machine that can make anything from espresso to a cappuccino. They also offer a breakfast buffet that, typically in hotels are quite poor quality/generic, however, this one was very fresh, and most products were local. As a well, seasoned traveler, when I see a number one rated hotel, I usually prepare ourselves to get bombarded by the team, to leave a five star review, however, they only mentioned it once! Upon check out, then, sure that we were beyond happy, and they even contacted our local transfer a company as they were running late and offer to find other alternatives, if need be. We even met the owner and general manager, who gave us a sincere thank you, and offered handshake. You don’t typically find that a lot nowadays where general managers don’t interact with Airgas. Overall, I would say this is a great value and a hidden gem. A great location with walkable to just about anything in the old town District. It is about an hour drive from the new Istanbul airport, but that is not the locations fault. 10 out of 10 recommend

We decided to stay at White House Hotel because of the amazing reviews , but really the good aspects were only the excelent location in Sultanhamet , and the kind and helpful staff !! Only this!!!! We booked the most expensive room , It was newly refurbished , but there were no armchairs to sit , no place to put the lugage , our views from the windows were of the backyard . Breakfast was very poor !! almost no fruit , just some thin slices of oranges and apples ! orange juice very artificial ! No yoghurt at all ! Worst breakfast of our 2 weeks tour in Turkey !! Finally ,what bothered me the most , was that on the last night when we arrived at the hotel after dinner , the staff at front desk asked us to sit with him to make a review of the hotel at TripAdvisor !!! We were astonished and told him we would do it later, alone , not with him !! completely inappropriate !! Never seen before !!

We decided to visit Istanbul for the local cats 😻 we booked a room at the White House Hotel because we wanted a nice comfortable hotel within walking distance of all the sightseeing locations we wanted to visit, and an a room with a fantastic view and romantic atmosphere. The White House Hotel exceeded every expectation that we had. We were greeted at the entrance with warm and sincere greetings by Kemal the very kind and informative front desk concierge of the hotel gave us a very short and extremely informative explanation of what to expect and all the wonderful things that we can experience in Istanbul, this information was served to us with a greeting cocktail 🍹 and a small treat 🍬. Then we were greeted by Malik a very warm and compassionate Manager of the hotel who received us very warmly. He even UPGRADED OUR ROOM 🤩 we were shown to our room by none other than Harry Potter himself, he even used his Hogwarts magical prowess to make our luggage to our room. Don’t believe me then book a room today 😇the room was equipped with a balcony and amazing view, the room was gorgeously furnished also with a rose petal covered bed and beautiful red Love balloon message. There was also a hand written letter by the owner on the bed welcoming us to the room. This hotel is also equipped with a beautiful rooftop area where you will be served a very wide array of very delicious breakfast options, a 24 hour coffee and tea area that was well received. All of the staff were very gracious and warm every time time we saw them. Always curious if we needed anything also Very knowledgeable and ready to help you with all of the information that is needed for our adventures. We were very well received and would definitely plan our next trip to Istanbul with a room reservation at this amazing hotel

Tucked away in the side street of Sultanahmet square. This hotel has wonderful spotless rooms, great service. Will help you with anything that you need. We got a free upgrade, water and anything else that you needed. The manager Malik goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Please make this your home away from home in Istanbul

We stayed here four nights. First of all the location of the hotel is perfect. You can walk to every top highlight of the city, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, etc. It is a very safe neighborhood and you can see Hagia Sophia from the rooftop of the hotel, which is also the place of every breakfast. But what we really loved about this hotel is that they make you feel like you have a home in Istanbul. The staff is amazing, we were received by Kemal who was at the front desk, he sat down with us, offered us some tea and he explained every detail of the city with a map, that made us feel very happy. There was also Harry Potter, a staff member who took care of our luggage and other details. And then came Malik, the hotel manager, who was super kind and always ready to receive our questions. He helped us a lot and he used to greet us every morning at breakfast. He was always asking about if we were having a good time, and always ready to give us some advice. When you are away from home visit beautiful place, what makes the experience really unique are the people. And all the staff at the White House were amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Tip top hotel! The location is perfect, but you can see that on a map. The staff are helpful and happy to be here. The rooms are very nice (the shower was a legit 10/10). The breakfast - the food and the rooftop view - were the best I had in Istanbul. And Malik (the manager) went above and beyond to make this a perfect stay. This will definitely be my only Istanbul hotel moving forward

Long story short this place is a home away from home! Beautiful exterior fallowed with even more beautiful interior. Luxurious vibes are all over this place. From the aesthetic all the way to the way staff treats their guests. Cleanliness is 100/10 everything smells amazing. Breakfast is various, has many choices and the food presentation in always on point. Turkish coffee is served in the cutest coffee sets which brings the experience to a whole new level. Staff is so servile and helpful. Location is awesome and the restaurant terrace has such an amazing view to make that morning coffee even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend as I myself always go back to this place while in Istanbul!

What a lovely hotel! The location was perfect for us with so many historic sites nearby and restaurants all around us. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Every morning a beautiful breakfast was offered and coffee/ tea service all day long. If I return to Istanbul I will stay there again.

Accommodations and staff made our stay in Istanbul wonderful. Malik and his staff made sure everyone was perfect for us. One evening we wanted to see an event a few minutes walk from the hotel. Uncertain if we could find our way, we accepted the invitation of a desk attendant to escort us. No charge. The care we received was over-the-top. We will definitely stay at The White House when we return to Instanbul.
