On my trip to Istanbul last July (Jul 3 - 9), I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights (Jul 6 - 9). For such cheap price, I could get double bed room with shared shower room. The bedroom and shower room was really nice, clean and neat. Strong free wifi. The location is unbeatable, literally across the Topkapi Palace.... More

Close to main sights. Super Friendly staff willing to help with any doubt of issue a customer may have. Comfy bedrooms. Cheap price. Nice hot shower. Make of this place perfect combination of value for money. Would go there again.

Simple place just to sleep in at the end of the day. Close to the main sights, which makes it amazing. We also appreciated the fact that they offered an airport shuttle for a reasonable price. Recommend for, like I said, a place to crash at the end of the day.

It was 2nd time I stayed at Erenler Hostel. Perfect location to touristic places and sights, you can walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia within 7-10 minutes, beautiful Gulhane park and Topkapi palace is also near by. Rooms are small but that's fine. If you wish for more quiet room - ask a room with windows to backyard (I think... More

Also called Hostel Erenler. It is not. They have only 1 multiperson, shared room. It is definitely a hotel worth considering. I booked a $21 U.S. room with shared bath. I got a nice room with bath for the same price, air con included. Close to tram stop. Easy walk to most important sites. Salih will answer all your questions... More

I loved this place. I stayed in 2 other places in Istanbul before I came here, both of which cost a LOT more. For value you can't beat this one. The location is excellent, it is clean, has everything you need in the room and the owner really couldn't do enough for me - so helpful and kind. If you... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
