We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions on what to explore, boat tours and where to eat. The double room was quite spacious, clean and they were tidying up the rooms daily. Breakfast was also good with some variety and on one of our days they gave everyone pancakes which was a nice surprise. Of course the location was nice, you.re basically 2 mins away from the two mosques (blue and hagia Sofia) and the nearby streets are full of color and great restaurants.

My third stay her for 13 nights. As before excellent experience. Great place to stay. Strongly recommend staying here . Very caring staff, close to Hagia Sophia, Topkapi and Blue mosque. Grocery storw just downstairs. Great eating places all around.

Fabulous location - lovely quiet room, comfy bed, fantastic shower, but very disappointing breakfast
This lovely little hotel is located in a super part of Istanbul so you can walk to the main tourist attractions. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was at the top - lovely to have our own outside space. Bed was super comfy, the room warm and the shower one of the best we’ve ever had. It would gave been nice if the doors were opened up in the breakfast room or tables outside too. The breakfast was disappointing- some nice muesli, nuts, fruit etc would have been good but the chopped fruit was fizzy and we wondered how long other food had been presented? Overall we loved the hotel ( although we might recommend the cleaner is a bit quieter in the mornings especially on her phone ), although she was friendly too. Would def recommend…

The hotel is updated and very comfortable. A good breakfast, and the cook made sure we had rolls still hot from the oven. Staff very friendly with good ideas for sightseeing, shopping and dinner- Sea Port around the corner! We could walk in less than 10 minutes to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Basilica Cistern. Absolutely perfect in the middle of Old Town

One of the best locations in Istanbul. Next to Taksim Square with the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Our room was spacious and comfortable. What really made our stay was the excellent service provided by Yunus at the front desk. His recommendations for restaurants and Baths were excellent, he was very helpful in assuring we had the best experience. Yunus truly went the extra mile when we discovered at the airport that one of our passports was left in the room safe. Yunus immediately arranged for a taxi to take the passport to the airport and stayed in contact with us so we could locate the driver. We were able to make the flight. We would definitely book this hotel again, best spot for tourism.

This hotel is perfect in everything, the situation near the Blue Mosque and in the city, the great staff who help with anything to make the stay a dream, the rooms, with a lot of space and very comfortable, the breakfast on a lovely terrace, outside when it is warm, inside behind a window when it is colder. Walk out of the hotel and immediately you are in the old city. From the roofterrace you can almost touch the blue mosque and everything is nearby. Shops, restaurants, Sultan Ahmet, the sea… We regularly come to Istanbul and since we found this hotel we never looked for another one anymore.

Perfectly positioned to see the sites. Good size room with an excellent rainforest shower. All the usual amenities you would expect from a hotel of this standard are in the room. Amazing staff who help you discover the area with their own expertise which was very helpful. Lots of good restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep, unbelievably central to everything. All I will say is if your looking at staying close to the attractions then look no further this is the place. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back next year

From my initial booking with Burkan to our departure after a six night stay in this gorgeous small hotel we received nothing but friendliness and a can do attitude. Nothing was too much trouble and although all staff were wonderful Yunus was our go to man. With our group consisting of 10 family members including small children our questions were many and so many directions needed which were all answered in such a friendly manner. The hotel as mentioned in many previous reviews is in a fabulous position to visit all the historical sites and mosques and surrounded by many restaurants, shops and bazaars. Absolute perfect location. Our rooms were a pleasure to come back to after a day of sightseeing, fully air conditioned and very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and seating. Breakfast was lovely catering for everyone and I personally loved the scrambled eggs. Probably my one and only issue in the hotel was the toast maker, so slow, but having stayed in many hotels I think it is a common complaint. All 10 of us loved our stay at the Obelisk Hotel and would absolutely recommend it for a hassle free comfortable stay with fabulous staff and convenience to everything.…

The hotel is located very close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace. The hotel staff is extremely professional and caring for the customer needs. Especially staff Zeki, Serkan were kind and helpful, they went extra mile for us. The chef Tolga also prepared vegetarian food for us which was a feeling like home. I highly recommend this hotel as it is accessible to lot of tourist places, good connectivity for tram and excellent service by all the staff.

We had a great experience during our recent stay at Obelisk hotel in Istanbul. Perfect location, a short walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and other Istanbul landmarks. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.
