Don't let me begin with the lilliputian sized rooms! On arrival,my husband and I were more than shocked to find out how tiny the room was (not to mention the fact that we had booked a double room but got a double room instead.) The second noticeable thing was the bathroom's broken handle. We noticed that almost immediately because my...

We booked with my girlfriend a room a month ago and when we went there (01-01-2016) it was closed and nobody informed us. Unacceptable ! We have paid a hotel that doesn't exist. As a result we were trying to find a hotel at midnight. And of course all hotels were trying to take advantage of the situation.

As we were travelling by train we could only book 12 hour ahead and it was also China's holiday so most places were booked out. This wasn't in the centre and we had trouble finding it, even the taxi drivers didn't know where it was! We arrived by metro and saw a Nobel Hotel but it was the wrong one....

Booked a double room for 2 people. They put us with our luggage in the smallest room which wasn't even rectangular! The bathroom you could barely turn around in without hitting something and I'm not a big person!!! and the quality of bed was horrible, bouncy everywhere! hard to lie still without disturbing your partner. The front desk man was...

I was on a night transit and decided to stay again in Nobel Hotel. Its a petite boutique hotel. A very well maintained with friendly staff. Breakfast was healthy and can be boring as they dont really change the menu. Its a walking distance towards the tram station. Grand bazaar is also within walking distance but should u choose to...

Was here for 7 days with my cousin we had separate rooms, the rooms were I presume for single travellers very small. The room that I was in was facing the street and I could not eliminate the constant flashing from a neon light across the away, Breakfast was on the top floor with view of the city staff very...

“In the dormitories you take a chance. You may get nice people, you may get annoying drunks who come in late. If you can afford it the private rooms are best and you can still meet other travellers on the roof at breakfast. They will let you move when space becomes available if you don't like your room.”
