Taksim Hot Residence/Suites is right around the corner from Taksim Square and Park, but unlike the fancier hotels facing onto the crowded, busy Square, this small boutique hotel is tucked away on a super quiet side street where you'll have no clue at night you're in a bustling noisy city of 15 million people. Amazing location!! Proprietors and brothers Amin...

Actually I was traveling and Istanbul was my hub. I spent one day in istanbul and I got a very cheap price by booking.com I was lucky to find this hotel as it is near taksim park and just short way to metro station. Also, there is bus shuttle to Ataturk airport and to Sabiha Gokcin airport.... only 3 min....

It was a bit difficult to find the location even though it was not my first time in Istanbul. The location is great though, very close to Taksim Square and the airport shuttles. The staff was polite and the check-in process went fast. The big plus is that the hotel is located at the very quiet corner blocking a lot...

We stayed here a total of 5 nights. It was a perfect location to taxis, restaurants, bars, the bus stations and easy location to walk across the bridge or walk north to look at more attractions. We stayed in the penthouse on the top level room which is more of an apartment with a beautiful view of the city. We...

After staying here for a week, I would gladly return when next time need a flat in Taksim. For the price paid it was fair deal. There was a proper fridge in the room, not a tiny mini full of booze, but a real thing (empty though). Sometimes there were noises from other rooms and corridor. The bed was clearly...

Stayed here one night. The price was excellent and the location is very convenient to Taksim square, the bus to the SAW airport, and the metro. The room was not much bigger than a queen bed. The bathroom was a small shower room typical of what is found in budget hotels in Southeast Asia. The mattress bottomed out when sat...

Personnel was really nice and helpful, location is perfect. There was a kitchenette in the room but no oven or microwave provided so the kitchen was actually useless. The hotel is very friendly to pets. There was an only window on the first floor that opens into a cellar - very dark and humid.

We have just returned from five nights in Istanbul, staying at Hot Suites Taksim, which we got through the 'secret hotel' deal on Last Minute. We didn't experience any trouble with the booking as another reviewer had done, and on arrival found a clean and comfortable room, and the staff were polite and helpful. The rooms are all decorated very...

I booked this hotel from the last minute.com website as a 3 star hotel secret deal. We did not stay at the hotel and are in the process of obtaining a refund from lastminute.com. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that our booking was cancelled by lastminute.com. and they were fully booked. However, they could offer us...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
