This hotel was probably the best Hotel I stayed at in Istanbul (in terms of value). Location is right in the heart of old Istanbul. Your are literally near everything. Perfect if you plan on sightseeing by foot and going up to Taksim square. I am not sure if everyone had the same deal at that time but my stay...

We had booked a room in Serenity Hotel via venere.com and kept the confirmation. After arriving they told us that the hotel was under construction and they couldn't give us any room. They didn't sent any information about this! They recommended another hotel for higher price level, but it was very small and dirty.... We had to search another hotel...

We thank you for your review. As you write in your review, this is an unusual situation. Problem is not about the hotel or its rooms. It is a communication problem between hotel, booking website and guest. In any case we are sorry for the situation. We hope we will have a chance to show you our hospitality.

I stayed at this hotel twice as part of a package tour. My first impression when I arrived at night to this hotel was rather negative. It is very very small, only 14 rooms, in a rather dark small street. I got more comfortable when I found that the rooms are rather comfortable, reasonably sized, and everything was quite new....

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
