I stayed in Istanbul at Hotel Next 2.
The room we were given was the best for us, and at a price that was very reasonable.
All facilities were up to the nark and we throughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
It is very convenient to access and the rooms have all the facilities one needs as a family.
The best thing is staff.
My. Yousef, the owner is a very nice and helping guy.
Mr. Muhammed is a gem of a person.
All staff is really helpful and cooperative and we felt like staying at our own home.
I highly recommend this hotel to families.

I arrived very late in the evening and the manager and owner arranged to meet my taxi. The manager was very friendly, welcoming and spoke excellent English. I was offered tea even though it was late in the night. I was lucky to be upgraded to a family suite. I was travelling solo so it was more room than I could use. It was nice, clean and spacious so ideal for a family. It is a 2 min walk from the main tourist strip so it is quiet. I slept in and missed breakfast so the manager kindly offered me to join himself for breakfast and we discussed my travel plans for the city. This is place is great if your either a solo traveller or a family. They really go out of their way to help you.

In hotel next2, but this time was completely different from previous times , because the hotel owner and manager and staff changed and the new ones ruined everything with their awful behaviour.
I share my experience with you so that you don’t trust them either,
I booked a duplex suite from December 19 to December 23 for 5 persons but when I received the hotel they told us our suite is not available due to some issues and it will be ready from December 21 and they gave us two room (a family suite and a double room), I trusted them and after some argue we accepted the new rooms , but when we went to our room the situation in the rooms were awful, I couldn’t even take a shower, when I turned on the faucet the floor of bathroom was full of water and water went out of the bathroom and everywhere was dry and dirty, I decided to go to reception to tell them the problem and when I open the door , water was coming from the roof , it was the dirty water from the room in upstair,
As a result we decided to change our hotel so we spoke with reception his name was mehmet but he told us we have to pay for the first night then we can change and leave the hotel and they charged my card for one night , and tomorrow when we decided to check out the reception told us we have to pay all the fee and while I was talking with reception I met a lady in lobby and I asked her what is your room and she told us they are staying in the duplex suite ( the only duplex suite in this hotel) from 17 to 21 . and we realised that the hotel booked the same suite for two person at the same time , that’s why they lied us the restoration will be finish on December 21.
So after a lot of argues we decided to change our hotel and when we were checking out they ensured me they won’t charge me and also I received an email from the hotel that the cancellation cost is zero but after 2 days they charged my card several times , and when I send massages to the hotel’s manager ( Yusef Demir) several times they finally answered We have the right to receive the full fee and call booking .
I negotiated with Booking.com and finally today ( after 1 week) they told me the hotel didn't offer an acceptable solution for my issue , so Booking.com refunded my money.

Stayed for 4 days. No staff to clean the room even on requesting they paid no attention to it. No lockers in the room but on requesting they assisted. Breakfast was mentioned as buffet however it was just one plate send to room and wasn’t up to the mark. The rooms were too old and only had transparent white curtains on window without a window to close thus no privacy. Towels and bathrobes were not present but on requesting they provided. It was a horrible experience considering I came on a honeymoon with my wife and was extremely disappointed and embarrassed.

What can I say!! Booked a triple room for my mother and a couple of her friends and to our surprise it was the dirtiest hole ever and a rude unprofessional impolite manager. Anyway they couldn’t step a foot inside the dirt hole and had to leave and forget about what they’ve already paid. My advice.. if you decide to book there for some unknown reason, at least make it a refundable booking so you can get back your money after going there and see what a piece of **** it is. Shame!!!

Dear guest and visitor of Next2 Hotel Nothing is dirty...many people staying and who can accept that !! You know,No any refund for Non-refundable reservations thats why better to check all detail is suitable for you or not before,The best way is phonecall hotel and ask more detail from hotel staff. Even Refundable reservation must be cancell in the time of cancellation otherwise again penalty is necessery you will give 1-2 days.For the get free cancellation; trying to find something to make promlems is not working unfortunately...Even if blame to another people is not gonna be earn anything for you(like saying dirty,unprofessional etc )…Best Wishes

2. The location is great in heart of Istanbul.
3. Breakfast is too modest.
4. Water is free but they complained about our high consumption.
5. Mustafa, one of the receptionists is too talketive and at times I felt he just loves to speak English ... not being helpful
6. The other staff are really friendly
7. The bathroom door didn't close which is a problem when you've got a doublex
room for five adults. They didn't fix it.
8. The balcony is nice but still needs work
9. The Sea view: you can see the Sea but also a lot of bricks have ruined the view.
10. Sheets are very clean
11. The bathroom is fine but jacozy in room 501 does not work. Nobody fixed it while we were there.
12. Overally I give it 2 out of 5.

Dear visitors I am Mustafa (Manager and Owner) and wanted to explain some issues below that the guest complained We always respect for all the guest comments but If they are truly honest, Nowhere, nobody care about your personal problems. We are only responsible about our hotel inside not outside of the hotel (Even i call the shopping mall with my cellphone a few times for your lost passport) Water is free in the room and we are giving one bottle, 1,5 lt per day not 2 bottles per person per day. Problem is not water you know that you can not enter any room and get water your self without telling us. This is privacy violation and thief (We have this camera record) and still did not send your embassy We control all room amenities before every guest check in, if you do not know how to use Jacuzzi or can’t manage, you could ask for a help. If something wrong you should tell us otherwise how we may know We never argue with our guests but that meaning is we will not say you stop. Overal all other complains and trying to find fault with hotel is just to cover their blame We would like to satisfy all of our guests during their stay with us and work for it Mustafa/Manager

I am disappointed with the room as it fits only a single person and not two persons as it is supposed to. It's a nice looking Hotel. Only good to look at but not comfortable for two persons. The reception is friendly. I don't think I will come back to this hotel with friends

They don't have their own shuttle service but you can contract a airport shuttle service to & from next2. The front office can arrange it for you.
