Sultanahmet Cesme Hotel is a well located hotel near many restaurants and prime Istanbul sites. The rooms are very clean, well equipped as explained by the hotel. Everything worked well, although being April, I didn’t use the AC. The bed was conferrable, with good quality sheets. The room was very clean and I heard no noise, a real rarity. An excellent Turkish breakfast is served on the top floor with an excellent view. Good tea and coffee, eggs, chicken sausage, veggies, olives etc. Excellent bread. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful. WIFI generally worked well, but they’ll reset the router if there is a problem, no complaints here. Overall, an excellent place to stay in Istanbul.

We were 6 ladies travelling to Istanbul and had booked 3 hotel rooms through Make my trip for 25 Oct - 26 Oct 2022 three months in advance.On reaching there we found that they had allotted us only 2 rooms. They said they were overbooked and they can't give us a 3rd room.They tried to accomodate 2 of my friends in some other hotel which looked very shady and uncomfortable. The rooms were small and We ended up staying on triple sharing even through we had paid for double sharing.Till date we have not received our refund. Make my trip says the hotel is not responding...

Great friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Great view with a terrace. Stayed for three nights all needs were taking care of. Fair prices and all in all a peaceful visit. Beds are big and comfortable with cold ac.

What we were shown online was different from what we actually got. We booked and paid for double rooms, but were given a small single room. The staff was very rude and dismissive when I brought up my concerns. The service was terrible as well; there was no changing of sheets and towels, no hot water, and no shampoo or soap. To top it all off, at checkout, we noticed that a lot of our belongings in our room were stolen. When we mentioned this to the staff, instead of helping us, they told us to get out. I do not recommend anyone to go to this place.

I highly recommend this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful and willing to help, although we didn't speak neither English or Turkish. They went back and forth in order to alow us to check in early. The room was extremely clean and the breakfast was delicious. We would definetely go back to this hotel at anytime.

I have a bad experience in this place, I visited my friends at the hotel at night to take something from them and the hotel manager prevented me from going up in an inappropriate and rude way, I asked him why you behave in such a disrespectful way and he expelled me from the hotel with bad words against me and against my nationality, I Explaining that I am just a tourist and do not live in Turkey, and he told me that we do not want tourists like you and like your friends here (he means Arabs and Syrians in particular), and he uttered abusive words and tried to attack me, knowing that my friends in the hotel are Syrian and Lebanese, I have traveled for more than 20 A country around the world and I have never faced such racism before, I do not recommend it at all, especially those who have wars or from Arab nationalities because of the racism of the hotel manager…
