The staff /concierge are very cooperative and smiling all the time. The manager gave us her Istanbul card for all public transportation. The room was...

It's a nice family hotel, value for money, near the sight seeings, in walking distance about 10 minutes to Agia Sofia and Blue Mosque. The location of the hotel is very safe without traffic noise at all. Very clean rooms with friendly, smiling and willing stuff to serve any time of the day and night. The breakfast is extremely good...

I couldn't be happier with our stay at Maritime. Sure the room is clean, the location is close to the Hagia Sophia and the tram, the breakfast was great but most of all what makes this place truly extra ordinary was the staff. Defne , Bulent and Oguz went above and beyond to make sure you were taken care of...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 weeks whilst studying in Istanbul. The lovely manager Defne, and her knowledgeable staff, especially Bulent, made my stay most enjoyable. I felt like a visiting family member the way I was treated here. In the visitor's book in their foyer, most guests also mention how well they have been looked after. The Maritime's...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
