Exe Adahan Galata is an exclusive accommodation located in the district of Gálata or Karaköy, one of the fashionable areas of European Istanbul. The hotel is built in 1874 and preserves many of its original elements, such as columns, windows or frescoes, which give a unique character to each room. The decoration is a mixture of contrasts between this historic architecture and breaking touches of color and design. The rooms and suites of Exe Adahan Galata guarantee the maximum comfort to the guests, thanks to the high quality services. Some of them include terrace, kitchen and work areas. The hotel's services are complemented by a restaurant with Turkish and international cuisine and a rooftop terrace overlooking the Galata Tower and the centre of Istanbul.

Adahan in Galata is an older, historic building. Spent and afternoon on the terrace lounging with family. Very accommodating staff. Excellent turkish pides as well as other offerings! Great sunset view.

Yup-there had been warnings and some reviews bemoaning staying at the Exe Adahan Galata but I plunged in anyway in November. What I found is a staff trying hard to get it right and doing a solid job. The breakfast is ample and good with offerings of not just cold food but omletes as well. If you pay a bit more than just the very basic room you'll wind up with an airy and lovely place to rest your head (and I would strongly urge you to pay that bit more). This hotel is moving in the right direction. Keep it up guys!

An interesting hotel in the heart of Pera, Istanbul. There have been a number of management changes and this hotel, once revered as original, has somewhat lost its shine. The room provided was simply enormous. Too big. Tall ceilings.pine panelled with Shaker-like furniture inside the space. Really quite spartan and soul-less. The bed was hard. The bathroom was shabby chic, but everything worked. Not overly comfortable. There is a great terrace with views over Halic and the Golden Horn, yet, at the time of the visit, they had no alcohol licence. But the terrace and the adjoining room offer lots of space and seats. Perhaps the biggest plus as well as the hotel location itself. A return? Not for me, but it may well suit others.

I camped out here for three weeks, enjoyed my stay, recommend it, and will return again. The rooms might be considered spartan to some, but I enjoyed the rustic and minimal look and feel. Nothing worse than sleeping surrounded by somebody's bad taste and over furnishing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, largely English speaking, and the breakfast was good and amble.

Worst hotel ever! We stayed at this hotel in summer with our friends, the rooms were so dirty, the breakfast was awful, actually we found mold on the cheese which supposed to be fresh! There wasn’t enough bread in the buffet. Nothing is like the picture in their website! And its not suitable for pregnant or elderly people because of so many stairs in main entrance.
