This was an amazing hotel with very friendly staff. It has a perfect location and grand bazaar is within walking distance along with plenty of shops right outside. The receptionist had very good English and was very helpful with all our queries. The breakfast was also very good and the WiFi had great signal as there were boosters on every...

This hotel is located perfectly, only a 10 minutes walk to the old bazar (Kapali carsi), with many food/ restaurants and other shops near. Sultanahmet is walking distance, metro stop close by. Clean rooms, delivers what I would expect from a 4* hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast with a good variety. Spa facilities are available.

Just booked into this great hotel. Although a bit quiet at the moment it's a great location extremely clean and has spa services (extra charges). Conveniently located near Aksaray metro systems so airport metro and Sultanahmet metro really convenient. Highly recommend.

The receptionist who set in evenings was not professional and does not know how to talk to guests. while during daytime the receptionist was very polite and knew good English. Though they claimed that rooms are sound proof, the construction by nearby disturbed me a lot. Rooms are small. I would recommend not to take this hotel if you do...

The wifi was fairly good. The guys at reception weren't overly friendly (language barrier could be the reason there). It is very close to the tram which is really convenient. The breakfast was good. As a whole it was acceptable in my opinion. No great shakes here

This was actually a pretty good place to stay in Istanbul. The location is on last metro stop and only a few tram stops from golden horn and other attractions. Food is very good. Rooms might not be very large but they are clean and nice almost what you would get in a higher class of hotels.

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighbourhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighbourhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
