One of the best hotels in Istanbul. I was deeply pleased with the location. The hotel is far from noisy Istiklal street, so we had peaceful night sleep, unlike our friends who resided in the hotel, located on Istiklal. However, we did not suppose to leave on a hill. Every walk from the hotel to the closest tram station can be considered as a nice training. Although it was said, that the hotel is in 1km from the Kabatas station, the walk there can take around half an hour. Though, every place in Istanbul is easily reached by public transport. From Kabatas you can take a direct tram to the historical center (around 20 minutes) or a funicular to the nearest metro station. The rooms are rather spacious, we got an exceptional view on Bosphorus, despite our room being marked as a side-view. The cleaning was good, always did it when we left for breakfast, never bothering us. I enjoyed the variety of dishes served both in the mornings and evenings. I was pleasantly surprised to know. that they bale the bread and pastry themselves. The dinner proved to be awesome. The grill station was perfect, I liked the amount of vegetables as well. The mix of cuisines was nice enough, to not get bored everyday. Big thanks to Faruk, who provided excellent service during our stay. The SPA is vast. We went there without making an appointment and were free to use all the facilities there. Enjoyed the steam sauna (not to mix with hamam) the most. To sum up, our experience in Swissotel the Bosphorus was awesome. Looking forward to coming back next season!…

We have really appreciated this nice hotel. Breakfast was great, nice waiters (thanks Faruk), room with a beautiful view on the Bosphorus ! The hotel also prepared a nice decoration of the room for my wife’s birthday. Spa, pools and gym are also nice and well equipped. I fully recommend for a week end in the center of Istanbul.

What a waste hotel, you call this 5 star, more like b&b. very disappointed, dirty rooms, food was disgusting, staff was very rude, over priced the place is unhygienic and not worth your money. I do not recommend this at all. Please avoid.

Chalet restaurant was excellent, Mr. Haluk was so nice who helped us at whole night. Delicious Swiss taste, whe had ordered taste plate, that includes also desert fondue. Urla wine was tasteful. Strongly reccomended
