The friendliness and comfort of this hotel and staff was fantastic. It is ideally located and would recommend it to anyone especially on a shorter break as it has easy access to the sites. We would definitely stay here again

good location , 5 minutes walking from Sultanhamet metro stop and all the shops and restaurants. room is clean. breakfast was in the sister hotel just in front with a breath taking view on the bosphorus. just the staff should be more attentive and smiling to guests.

Clean hotel, great location to go on foot and see Topkapi Palace and a lot of mosques, within walking distace to the Great Bazaar and many other stuff. Very polite staff. This hotel located in Sultanahmet area which is you can visit Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi Palace with only short walking distance. The room itself was quite nice and the staf was informative (specially when you booked tour from them) but it was more expensive than what I found outside. The breakfast took place not in this hotel but...

We booked 3 nights in a deluxe room at hippodrome hotel, and paid everything during booking. However when we got there the staff brought us to the hippodrome apart, and the rooms weren't the ones we booked. We asked to change our rooms at the main hotel and not the apartment, but apparently they were fully booked and could only...

We visited this Hotel in the summer of 2013 and it was a smaller hotel but nice and clean. They served breakfast in the hotel across the street's Terrace from where you could see the Great Blue Mosque! Breakfast was ok. Our room also had another room for our children with 2 twin beds and 1 queen size bed in...

Our room was good with en suite but the bonus was that...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
