It's a 1-star but I'd upgrade it to a "3-star" rating for price, location, service, breakfast & facility. At the time of my stay there the price was RM48/night = US$12/night - ridiculously CHEAP! At that rate I got a comfortable room complete with flat screen tv & shower; enjoy hefty roof-top Turkish breafast with great view of the old...

We can't say enough about this fine, little hotel! We stayed for seven nights and it couldn't have been better! The room was small but with an outstanding view (602), the owner and his staff could have not been more helpful and what we thought would be a 'one off trip' has now become a 'we'll be back'! That would...

Very very welcoming staff. They do what they can to make you happy. The rooms are small yet clean and comfortable. The breakfast not bad for the money you pay. The waiter in the dinning room is very polite. Sure I'll come again.

The hotel is very conveniently located to all the main sights of Istanbul. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia are both within walking distance. There are plenty of nice restaurants around the hotel. And now to the main PLUS.. The staff! They are very helpful and more than willing to do anything for you. In particular Mutlu at the reception,...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
